It’s a vehicle shaped like a brick… and then you’re going to put 35s on it.

and then probably a roof rack… and some extra lights… and if you’re drinking the overland koolaid, some rotopax or some other trendy doodads.

you bought it for its utility, its off-road performance, and capability…. Not the MPGs.

smiles per miles or whatever they say.

If I want good MPG’s I’ll drive the ‘67 289 coupe….

It’s more aerodynamic.

Yeah…….that checks out.

If the world goes Mad Max would you rather travel through the wasteland in a Bronco or a Prius?
Easy, a Prius would get much further on the limited fuel available, fixed roof for security from the elements, a windshield not cracked so you can see out of it. Lower profile so easier hide and blend in. Hatchback for getting at equipment. Ability to run silently on just the electic, Yep, you are right, no brainer.

I certainly didn't buy my Bronco to get good MPG. I bought it for off-road performance, but it is also my daily driver. If I can save a few bucks by adding a few PSI to my tires, that's just common sense (and a good tip).

I think the Prius could hang on in that world. 😁

Aren’t they FWD? I might opt for one of those new mavericks with AWD. A truck bed with decent tow capacity? Sheeeeeeeee!
