do you have Factory tow pkg, or did you add hitch?
Great looking setup!
Thanks!
Factory tow package. I added a hitch extension to clear the spare tire. No brake controller but I think that can be added later from the dealer.

Sweet trailer! Night shots are fantastic! Completely off subject but what is the setup you have across the front bumper? Looks like 6 lights?

Just got back from a quick camping trip on the Mojave Trail. Figured some 2-door owners might be interested in how the Bronco does towing. (2.7L auto/Sasquatch)

I was super happy! My trailer is a Mammoth Overland Trailer- weighs 2500lbs, we were probably closer to 3000 with the weight we had in it. I averaged 16.7mpg for the trip (180miles) and 150 of that was +70mph on the hwy. Tracks well, plenty of power for passing, and the short wheelbase was great for maneuvering the trailer.

By comparison, my Gen3 Tacoma got about 12mpg when towing and that was with a re-gear.

I dropped the tow package on my two door BL order yesterday. Not in hopes of speeding up a potential build date, but because I realize I wont be towing with it. I just need a hitch to install the cargo extender for smelly surf fishing related items. I can tow with my 5.0 F150. Terrific set up you are sporting there. Some of the photos remind me of a 1980’s Tom Petty music video.

Like everyone has said, that's a badass setup and some amazing pictures!

I'm also getting a two door Bronco 2.7L with the tow package, I race karts and do a fair amount of towing. I tow an enclosed trailer, but just upgraded from a 6 x 10 to a 7 x 12 with additional height, so I was very curious how the two door handled pulling "a big box". I hadn't even thought about a hitch extension to clear the spare. What kind did you get / use?

My 2015 Xterra didn't like the added height and went from averaging 14mpg when towing to around 11.5mpg when towing the new trailer. Fingers crossed my experience will be similar to yours on the improved MPGs.

Thanks again for posting!!

brakes on that trailer
Yes, comes standard. I did a lot of research on off road trailers over the past 2 years. Nothing beats the value of Mammoth Overland. Fridge, stove, 21gal water tank, timbren 3500 axles, toilet, hot water heater, sink, trailer brakes, sliders, lights….. all standard.

Thanks for sharing. I'm picking mine up in a few weeks and we're heading out immediately. We got a used Runaway Camper to hold us over while our offroad one is being fixed after someone plowed into us on the highway. Love your little camper.

Thanks, I have a Tiny Camper Company squaredrop that comes in right at 2K, I've towed it with my current vehicle (Cherokee Trailhawk) without brakes but likely will add them when I repack the bearings early next year. It's still hilarious to me that thing has a higher tow rating than the Bronco. Towed it to the NH off roadeo from STL. I have the brake controller for the Bronco in my cart right now, plan on taking advantage of that 15% off before the new year.

just a cheapo Harbor Freight one. It’s a little sloppy, I might see if a better one fits more snug, but this works for now.

I was going to ask about the extension. You can add the brake controller yourself. The harness just plugs into the factory harness underneath the dash. I installed the brake controller couple weeks ago.
