I don’t see why it wouldn’t work, but just to let you know…I have my bronco loaded on my Amazon acct where it says “select a vehicle from your garage”, and when I clicked on your link, it says in big red letters, “This does not fit 2022 Bronco”.

I went with the CravenSpeed stubby. They’re about $25 and come in a few different lengths/flavors.

I returned this one - it decreased reception by 90%

Hello fellow Bronco6G members! Wanted to get a few opinions, what is everyone doing with their antenna? I removed mine because it hits the garage when I park, but mainly I'm wondering if leaving it off could cause damage (water from rain sitting int he antenna hole), or if I should just get a shorter aftermarket one.
Gleefully listening to the twang of it as I back into the garage after a day out exploring East Texas.

Also, using it to tune into FM radio way out in the sticks.

I've left the big whip on mine because it reminds me to close the roof from sunrider mode so I don't take it out with the garage header panel. I installed a high lift garage door last year so I can get most of the way in but with my lift I'll hit the header panel with the top 3" or so of my roof in sunrider mode.

Yup, I must be the only 30 something listening to AM news radio. Local Philly station even added an FM channel and I didn't make the switch. Something about listening to the news and baseball fits with AM.

I installed a stubby (wiper barely touches when lifted). The factory one is on the toolbox in the garage. (y)

Is there any estimation on the relative loss of FM reception on these stubby antennae? I doubt any of them are doing actual di-pole halving measurements.
I put a stubby on my F150 and haven’t noticed any attenuation. It was a Canadian Tire special, don’t remember the brand.

Side note for anyone living in snowy climates. Does it also bug you that the passenger wiper hits the antenna whenever you try to put your antennas up, or more specifically when you are trying to slam them down to break the ice off? Annoying, but not a real issue at all. Also slamming the rear wiper to break ice is impossible, almost no range of motion back there.

I did replace mine with a stubby from CravenSpeed, unfortunately, not stubby enough to allow the wiper to clear it over the top of the antenna without bumping a little. The Stubby Jr would allow the antenna to clear, but I didn't want that little nub.

I put on a stubby because, for example, when you drive north on the 5 to SF in the middle of the valley, the sun always makes a thin shadow that shakes all the way across the windshield for hours. Super distracting. Like someone waving a gray dowel in front of you when you drive.
