F@#%ing hell, are we supposed to drive em, grenade and get early in line for an engine...or not drive and wait forever for the total recall?

I'm officially sweating it out now at 266. I drove out earlier and it did something odd.. pulling out of the driveway the check engine light flashed for a second or two and the engine stalled but then it fired right back up and it performed OK the rest of the drive. Still very odd though. Hopefully not a harbinger of bad things to come.

Someone was reporting really bad gas mileage on here...lemme see if I can find that thread, wonder if related to valve issue but the thing is hanging on for dear life. could be interesting to get ahold of that set of valves .

Yeah, my julian date is 266 (Sep 22) so it's looking less and less likely that I feel comfortable taking the family to Florida in the Bronco next month (from NC). Sucks.

Maybe unrelated, but I had the cam phaser recall done on my 2019 3.5L F-150 about 8 months ago, and the gas mileage went to shit after. (20 down to 16.8 mpg)

It begs the question if the EB head design is flawed, or just shit materials used.

Someone at BN pulling the “it’s 28 motors out of 73% of all broncos delivered” crap again. Whatever they can do to lower the failure rate and keep the rainbows flowing!
He’s saying 2.7’s are essentially 73% of all broncos delivered so far. Probably pretty close, but again- this is not 28 out if that number. It’s 28 out of forum member owned 2.7’s.
