Instead of 'Grenade Batch', its just easier to say MY21It is based off of one of your great emblems, thank you.
I would behappy to design one for you guys, but being potentially days from taking delivery of mine, I don't want to put bad juju out there associating too heavily with blown 2.7s, LOL.
Nice, do you think you can get Ford to approve an official 2.7 GRENADE BRIGADE emblem?I would behappy to design one for you guys, but being potentially days from taking delivery of mine, I don't want to put bad juju out there associating too heavily with blown 2.7s, LOL.
Here is the one I did for our first batch of MY22 crew (it's Ford approved too).
It seems that #1 and #2 above may be one and the same person. The descriptions of their incidents are almost identical. Lost coolant (white smoke) continued driving and engine dies.Summary for Today - so far

Here is what appears to be a Ford dealership technician showing a blown 2.7. This was posted in June so most likely it is out of an F-150 since the block is already rusted. Is this nano valve issue only on Broncos? Do we know of any other Ford product with dropped valves? I will be surprised if this is a 2021 Bronco only issue, unless the Bronco has a modified nano.
Yes. One in the same. Bryce posted a screenshot of what I mentioned earlier the day before.Hey @bytheway and @Beach_Bum . . you guys were posting about Scott Yuen - is this same person as @ScottTexas ?
- or I guess @ScottTexas can also clear this
Wow talk about grenading an engine only 2 pistons still intact. Here is what appears to be a Ford dealership technician showing a blown 2.7. This was posted in June so most likely it is out of an F-150 since the block is already rusted.
Again, most likely NOT A BRONCO, but it does give an example of what a 2.7 looks like after an explosive event.
all 24 valves still in place though...definitely not the type of failure we are hearing aboutHere is what appears to be a Ford dealership technician showing a blown 2.7. This was posted in June so most likely it is out of an F-150 since the block is already rusted.
