Well, I might or might not have been sending it an activation request all day.
They came in as the higher official offer I got for my car, but my dealer offered a little higher for trading it in.Somebody on this forum mentioned selling my car to GiveMeTheVin.com (sorry, I don't remember who it was). Never having heard of them, I checked them out, and they are quite legit. Above that, I would highly recommend checking them out if you want to sell a vehicle.
I got quotes from them, as well as Carvana and CarMax. GiveMeTheVin actually came in the lowest. Carvana and CarMax wouldn't budge from their offers, and having done my homework I knew what my Jeep was worth, and what the resale value is. GiveMeTheVin called me back, and we had a good discussion. They ended up agreeing to the price I wanted, which was $3,119 higher than their initial offer. Do your homework, as the used vehicle market right now is red hot.
I ended up going with my dealer as well, once I found out that Florida only taxes the difference between the trade-in and the new vehicle. I'm from up north, so this was a surprise to me. But the quote from GMTVN made it a quick sell to my dealer.

That's what I've been trying to do so I can track it using the FordPass Connect app.
We are a rate breed! LOL...
Flood Ford has the best rates on the Ford ESPs so if you can't get your dealer to match it you can just buy right from them!

I am doing it in hopes I can track it from MAP. Once its shipped, I would be happy, but using an app to track it is so much easier and 2022 than calling an 800 number for an automated response like the 90's when you called MovieFone to get showtimes at a theater.
