I'm considering changing from MIC to soft top to hopefully speed up my build, but I really hate the looks and function of this soft top. Has anyone considered or attempted to fix the wavy rear window and also get a better seal? If you have nothing constructive to say then please move on.
It works and looks exactly as it was meant too.

Has anyone seen aftermarket panels for the soft top that don't need to be removed when the top is put down?
Only on the aftermarket powered roof, their side panels appear to be waveless although their prototype has smaller viewthrough visqueen (now there's an obscure term for ya)

There is nothing wrong with "the seal" just because there is a wave.
I had read somewhere that there were seal problems, not necessarily because of the wave.
The only seal that can be affected by the side panels is the velcro attachment to the actual roof and back corner. The seal of the top frame to the bed is not affected by whether side panels are installed or not. It may look like a gap until you try to pass something through. The bulb seal is fairly thick.

The message I get is that you are a sarcastic sob. No interest in your opinion.
Wow dude. Good luck with your day. I’m not the one throwing personal insults around. You asked how to fix the top thereby soliciting opinions. If you can’t handle a little humor maybe you need a nap.

Having owned dozens convertibles over 40 years (currently have three), the Bronco soft top is the epitome of commercially acceptable.

But these lift from the back! I don't understand how people don't understand that. Yes, you can tighten up....but you can't compare aftermarket.

You will fret over pictures of the wave in the side windows on the soft top until you get it. I will be honest, I am 4 months into having it and I do not even see it. I was thinking of all the ways to "fix" it, but it is really not a big deal now that I am not staring at it in every picture.
Same here, I barely notice it anymore. Happy with trade off to access rear easier and one this gets delivered it'll be even better.

It's a psychological phenomenon that one develops a preference for things as they become familiar with them, it's known as the mere-exposure effect, sometimes called the familiarity principle.

Obviously, Ford was banking on this working with the Bronco soft top windows and the Raptor fender flares. :)

Some folks should just get the hard top and leave the rest of us alone. I can't wait to get mine.

Would if I could. Thanks for the useless comment.
All I'm saying is to get over it....you can tighten it up....for those who can't stand it, there's another option. Or get an aftermarket top that won't flip up in back. Pick one. Not useless at all, I think....
