Do all orders that get a VIN go through previewing beforehand? That is, could an order get a VIN without a dealer seeing it preview?

Nope, some VINs just occur randomly without notice, but have the same response from the reservationist, instant release of tension, relief and ebullience.Do all orders that get a VIN go through previewing beforehand? That is, could an order get a VIN without a dealer seeing it preview?
Does receiving a VIN mean we're getting closer? To...something...?Nope, some VINs just occur randomly without notice, but have the same response from the reservationist, instant release of tension, relief and ebullience.
Not for the majority of folks that received them in late January/February, see the ice mountain threads... Some are delayed into May.Does receiving a VIN mean we're getting closer? To...something...?
I'd imagine it's a positive step, right?
Thanks! Hopefully one day soon my wife and I will experience the joy.Nope, some VINs just occur randomly without notice, but have the same response from the reservationist, instant release of tension, relief and ebullience.
May your joy overflow like Wren and Stimpy. Thanks! Hopefully one day soon my wife and I will experience the joy.
Not sure if my joy will come more from getting the Bronco or being able to retire our '04 250k mile Expedition that I'm reallllllly tired of taking care of. This whole process has killed a lot of my hype for the Bronco. Either way...some happy happy joy joy dancing will happen.May your joy overflow like Wren and Stimpy.
2 dr big bend, mid, SAS, mod bumper, 2.7Whats your build?
I was on the same path- I actually emailed my dealer to ask some questions on dropping to the 2.3L and his reply was "well its too late now you just got scheduled". HANG IN THERE!!!2 dr big bend, mid, SAS, mod bumper, 2.7
think I might drop mod bumper and maybe 2.7. Not sure yet.
Well this didn't age well...It's all about allocations, if a dealer has say 200 allocations for the year and only has 100 orders they are still going to get additional orders built for that year. Also, if the previously ordered Broncos are not buildable the orders or most likely even buildable stock orders will continue to be built until the allocation is completely exhausted pushing some of the unbuildable ones off so they won't be built for that year.
It does, not everyone on this Forum is negative. Getting a Vin is the next step to getting built. Could still be quite a while, but if you got a vin for a 2022 then you should get one in the next 8-10 months.Does receiving a VIN mean we're getting closer? To...something...?

I have 2 identical broncos ordered at separate dealerships. Both have been bumped from 2/21 - 4/11 build weeek. Dealer #1 told me I can’t change my order without losing my place in line. Dealer 2 let me remove the Sasquatch package from my 4dr badlands Last week.Had a chat with my dealer this morning, as I was planning to drop the MIC top and tow package on my 4dr BD, and he said it was too late as well - my order has been previewing since early Jan and Ford "pulled and submitted to plant" on Jan 21st. Not sure what that all means but I still haven't received a Ford email, vin, or build date... ugh. Maybe Iʻll get lucky this week?? ha yeah right.
