Yes.And correct me if I’m wrong but your set up seems to work like this:
the light-sensing relay senses the dome light is on….and in turn…that turns on your after market LED’s?

The LED motion sensing lights your pointed me to arrived yesterdayYes.
No. You must of missed the 3 pages of discussion on why that won’t work. The LED motion sensing lights your pointed me to arrived yesterday
i just got the 7 inch man they are BRIGHT
I feel like just ONE in the back is gonna be plenty. Thanks for that rec
so this is prob a dumb question but in the OP’s set up…couldn’t you just run the LED’s straight into the engine bay and hook them into the fuse for the dome lights with one of those fuse circuit thingys? Would that work as well? (When domes come on so do the LEDs?)
Nah I read them, just didn’t get it haNo. You must of missed the 3 pages of discussion on why that won’t work.

They are RAD huh!!
Yeah, that's my only advice, so you know what to do. Keep us posted!yea they really are
have to wait until it’s dark to see how the motion sensitivity is gonna be and if I need to tape over part of the sensor like you did
They are controlled by the BCMIf you can point me to the dome light fuse, I'll send you a crisp $50 bill.
I spent 2 hours looking for it yesterday.
As I was soldering my extensions I accidentally shorted to ground through the soldering iron. Lights went out with the spark, and no fuses were blown. Two resets and they came back on....
Thanks again for this tipYeah, that's my only advice, so you know what to do. Keep us posted!
Jim...can you give a little more detail on exactly HOW you connected the relay into the dome? I'm not sure I understand what you had to solder and then glue (goop)together? When it is all closed up, where exactly is the relay/board located? Here's the schematic.
Sorry for the delayed reply, I didn't get this alert for some reason.Jim...can you give a little more detail on exactly HOW you connected the relay into the dome?
