Another quiet week … 🍀 🤞
Quiet on this thread is a wonderful thing! I do not like updates to this thread. I also hope my Bronco comes soon with a working 2.7
Might also be that people are not driving them.

I have literally put like 10 miles on mine since I verified I was in the danger zone. It has been sitting for 6 weeks now.

I would sell it if I felt that way.
I just drove 600 miles from NY to NC. Been enjoying driving around town with the top down.

I work from home. I don't have to drive it. I have been researching dealers to take it if I have issues.

Same, except home is now NC for a little bit.

At least with an FE you'll have more options for longer.

I don’t see a recall happening. If you don’t need it, drive it now so if it fails you can absorb the downtime. If there’s a recall it will take six months to get fixed because of the # of impacted owners. Just don’t go too deep into the woods 😔

I’m going nuts right now with the wait. It’s worse than the original wait to get the damn thing, because now I’m addicted. The weather is perfect, I have a pile of parts gathering in the garage, and I miss my Bronco and the truck I sold to get it.

That said, I’ll take my first world problem and be OK.

Wilmington. Lived here back in the '90's for 10 years. Left for work.

It's really not good to let something just sit. You need to drive it period. Especially with newer cars that have electronics that are always on, you'll find a dead battery.

Thought I picked myself up a winner when I bought a 93 XJ with only 55 k original miles... Till I started digging into the engine and seeing all the varnish because it was never driven enough to even get the moisture out of the oil.

I live in the city and have no need for a car. I left my Bronco in the garage sitting from 1/1/22 to 3/13/22. After a few days? a week? (not really sure) of sitting the Ford Pass app reported the Bronco went into a deep sleep and functions weren't available until you start it again.

Wow that's a bit impressive. Not that you let it sit or bought an expensive off-road vehicle in a city that you don't need a car in :p ..... But that the Bronco actually realizes and goes into an extra sleep mode. Wonder if remotes start works? Actually I wonder what functions you lose and what you keep?

No remote start. I couldn't retrieve oil life or tire pressure.

Still, brand new Bronco > 2010 gwagen. I agree, Bronco is impressive. Better on the full-day highway drives, better at sitting in a garage for months, and at least equal to gwagen off road (Badlands Sasquatch).

Agreed. Bought a 2008 BMW M3 with 16k back in 2015. Ended up replacing the rear main seal because it had dried out and was leaking. Nice to have the low mileage, however parking cars can be detrimental overall. I was hoping FORD would get off their ass and do some type of service bulletin.

I did take the Bronco out a couple of weeks ago during the six weeks. Power was out for 12 hours on a Saturday so we went to a few breweries. 2165 miles is now up to 2228. I am driving it to Auburn this weekend from Atlanta so I can install my Rockslide Engineering Steps and Goose Gear Rear Seat Delete. It will be our daily for the next few weeks while in Auburn.

For those that are in the "window" and have not had a total failure yet, have you done anything to nudge Ford into addressing this? Have you posted to Fords social media pages? Have you written a petition to the NHTSA? A lot of handwringing and complaining going on here.
