Last minute, impromptu trip for Sunday.
If you want to join, meeting at Eldorado Outpost at 10AM.
Need to have a day pass or annual pass to get on the trails, both of which can be bought there at Eldorado. day pass is $5, annual is $30. They also have trail maps.
Plan is to do easy-moderate trails (Wolf's Den, Falls Dam, Slab Pile, Rocky Mtn. loop) as time allows. Final route TBD, depending on time available, comfort level of people, etc.
Bring your own snacks, I always have an extra water or two.
Total freedom to break off and do your own thing on your own timing, no big deal.
I have GMRS, use channel 12 to keep the other groups' conversations from bleeding over. I also have CB if needed.
It would be nice to have at least one vehicle with a winch in the group, just in case.
But if we don't we will be fine. Bring any recovery gear you have, etc.
I have some gear, first aid stuff.
All are welcome, the more the merrier. Any more-versed people on the trail system are also welcome. I consider myself still a noob there, and am. Been a handful of times, still consult my map.
