URE (Uwharrie) Bronco Weekend get-together?

I’m definitely doing DBell when I head out there. Just installed my steel skids and I’m about to order sway bar quick disconnects. Little worried about the width of the Bronco, but should be alright on most of the trails.

Rock sliders installed as well.

None the less they offer better coverage than the factory rails and can be used as a step too. Looks like a good body mounted option.

I'd love to man, but I won't be able to this weekend. I plan to head out there sometime in May. I'll be sure to post here when I get it all planned out.

I just noticed I was not subscribed the the thread!
I've missed out on all convo since like page 2 or 3.
We Went Sunday, had a great time.
Zero issue on the backside of Daniel.
Not going to try the front side, I like my new ride to stay looking as new as possible for a while yet.
I'm down for a get-together or simple day-long trail run.
@rlynch356 might be a good one to help get things organized. Noticed he was a guide there before in one of the posts.
Comparatively I am still a newbie to there, as I have to consult the trusty map to plot my course each time.
I'm down for any of the trails except front side of Daniel.

I'm probably going to head down on a random day in May, but definitely on Friday, June 10th. I won't be able to get there until 11AM-ish, but I'll be there. I plan to invite some friends with Jeeps as well. Let me know if anyone would like to join.

Might wanna wait a week or two.
Not saying you DON’T want to go in the rain. But it is slick. Some trails would still be fine. But make the mistake of getting on Dutch John in the rain, and you’re in for a slidefest.
I mean, sounds like a fun muddy day….

Falls Dam, Wolf Den are quite easy. Rky Mtn. loop, to me, is pretty easy. Just the loop will keep you occupied for a couple hours. I wouldn't be scared to do any of those while it was raining/just after rain.

Heck, I may go myself now. 70% rain chance means there's a 30% chance you won't see any.

I'm pretty close and it is only 17% here on Sunday. I just assumed it would be about the same up there. Guess not lol
