$3500 is for the 2.7 AND auto over the 2.3/manual.
This email on the survey doesn't say that, or should I say, doesn't clarify that.

I will take the worst case scenario, so that I am not disappointed down the road. Any money that can be shaved off of my estimates just puts a bigger smile on my face. ?

The same wheels are nearly $2k on the Raptor. So that’s where most of the cost is tbh.

I would honestly love a Sasquatch without those wheels lol.
Total brain fart there, didn’t even think of wheels was just thinking tires.

Squatch on Badlands is a terrible price for essentially just tires. Dear God. $2500?
Thats the one I don't get...at all. People above were trying to justify it....but it is a terrible deal considering you already have the big diffs and gears, Bilstiens, lockers, and pretty nice wheels with 33s. Makes no sense to charge $2500....I don't see it.

Sas isn't bad on the other packages, considering they have to upgrade everything, and their wheels and tires are much cheaper to begin with.

Molded top at $700 to a Modular top at $1900 is a big jump.
It's exactly $1000 different on the Jeep. The molded top for $1295 and the painted one for $2295. I'm actually pleasantly surprised it may come in lower than the Wrangler's.

This is just me but I do not see any way that the Sasquatch isn’t including the cost of the auto trans. $2500 on the badlands is absurd for wheels and tires which is all the real difference, but $900 for wheels and tires+forced auto trans for $1600 to total $2500 makes perfect sense.

Only time will tell though.
But it shows the 5K price for OBX and BB for Sasquatch. OBX is standard with 10spd auto so Sasquatch should be 3.4K if this were true.

I didn’t get a survey on either of my reservations but this did help my budget is $45k. With what I want on the Badlands I’m sitting at $45,595 that’s before the x plan so I do believe I’ll be happy. Otherwise I have a BD reserved and with what I want I’m setting at $40,350 so I still have some room to add if I chose to! Now realizing the modular bumpers are standard on the BD knocks off $800 then add Sasquatch I’m at $44 and some change. Now I’m having a hard time deciding again!! ?

I’m mean between the two the only thing I wouldn’t be getting would be the stabilizer bar disconnect and the Baja goat mode. Soooo I may be def leaning towards the BD hard now. Bc at this moment in life I’m thinking I can live without those two things till later on!

Just out of curiosity for powertrain cost complaints, I did some snooping. Honestly there aren’t a whole lot of similar upgrades of the 2.3-2.7 in Ford’s lineup. One to set a floor for an engine upgrade would be the escape, which is $900 to upgrade from the 1.5 to the 2.0. I would say the 2.7 upgrade from the 2.3 is substantially larger than that upgrade so honestly $1900 seems about right. Maybe a little high by a couple hundred but not by $1k.
Looking at the F-150, changing the 3.3 V6 for the 2.7 V6 is $1,195. Using the Ecosport, going from the 1.0l engine to the 2.0l engine auto adds 4wd and only totals out to $1,595. If you want to change the Super Duty from the 6.2l for the 1 year old 7.3l godzilla engine, that is only $1,705. The Bronco auto adds the 10spd with the 2.7. Looking at the Mustang, the 10spd is a $1,595 option. Of course, none of this is really comparing apples to apples but the 2.7l isn't exactly a new engine at this point. Some tweaks to update it and adapt it for the Bronco, sure, but not new. $3,500 for the 2.7 and the 10spd seems rather outrageous to me when you look at everything else Ford offers in their lineup.

edited to change F-150 2.7 price to reflect 2021 pricing. Only an extra $200 and still doesn't add up.

1. Because OB has Mid package standard. So you pay 3500 to get the Lux (that includes all from Standard and High package). Badlands does not have Mid package standard so the price is 5000. Wildtrack also has mid standard and therefore upgrade to Lux is 3500.

2. The additional 1200 gets you the top painted in smooth glossy black (instead of non smooth / non glossy grey plastic) + removable rear windows.

Not going to get the Sasquatch option, but $2500 for the tires/fenders on a Badlands? NOT a good deal IMHO!
