40" tires on a Bronco Raptor?

Does anyone know if they would clear? Not actually planning on going that route but I am curious if it is an option or if it just entirely hampers articulation and starts to rub. In theory just 1.5" more tire in any direction of the circumference.

38's rub? I'm surprised. With the variations on actual tire height of 37's alone from one manufacturer to another one would think they would have designed in a decent buffer there.

Nitto 38’s rub…Recon grappler I believe. Nitto’s tend to run big. Real close to the actual stated size.

I saw a build on instagram of a shop putting 40’s on the braptor. It’ll be at SEMA. Not sure what they did to it though

Recons run bigger than BFG anyways, there is a decent difference even in 315s.

No chance 40's don't rub. From lite brites newest video 37i recon grapplers at full tuck look super close to the body. I don't think 38's would even clear.

I put 39" BFG KO2s on. Lifted it with RPGS coil collars. Steering wise they they didn't rub too much stock height. but at full bump they did.

Yes keeping them on, the past tense was I put them on over a week ago. Here are more pics, fully tested clearance and measured for new really go fast fox shocks. I put on the RPG Coil collars until the new fox coilovers show up.

What lift bump do the collars give you?

What shocks are you swapping to and assuming you will lose electronic shock sensors or are they somehow maintained? If lost how will that impact on board electronics ?
