Seeing someone say they’ve change the spec color of the MIC top. I bet it’s hard to find something that doesn’t look sunbaked. Think that’s the worst part about the gray I wonder exactly how that will hold up after time. Be something be glossing every year like I did on the cladding of my Isuzu Vehicross!

Wrong. You're overlooking the fact that it doesn't match Anything else on the vehicle:

• not the grill
• not the mirror caps
• not the door handles
• not the bumpers
• not the flares

It wouldn't be any less coordinated if they'd made it Chartreuse

this is a big reason I am considering the painted gloss black top. The MIC already looks sun baked, hows it gonna look in 5-10 years.

On the Badlands (but not the one in the OP, oddly), the gray top matches the grille and the wheels

Aside from wear and tear, it should look exactly the same. It'll hold up much better than a painted top.

I think it goes well with the Badlands grille in the gray (whatever the color they call it) also with the Cactus Gray. Only reason I considering saving the money was Cactus Gray, MIC gray top, fender deletes. Look pretty good!
Btw I meant Isuzu Vehicross. Had Subaru on my mind when typing before ?

Saying Fade and UV resistant so may be okay think still have to shine it up once in a while though I’m sure keep it looking new!

I think it goes well with the Badlands

I'm a BD guy....at least on Badlands they offer a shadow black painted option.

All is forgiven if they offer white top options on all trims

I’m curious to know why they just don’t offer a color matched hardtop, hell even fenders, across the board! Does that slow production down?! It’s been many years I’ve been in a car factory and Toyota was the last one at that. One thing can get on a wrangler all color matched I always liked thy option! I mean I’m happy we get what we get I still want a bronco so I’ll make the best of it!

That's because Broncos are fun so they need to be in fun colors. Black isn't fun.
