⏰ 2023 Bronco Scheduling Next Week (10/17) For Production Build Weeks 12/5 Through 12/19

Now I'm getting greedy, I'm seeing people scheduled with the Tow Package, and I left it off to avoid that constraint, but I'm scheduled so I'm happy. I'll go aftermarket, but I haven't been impressed with my local U-Haul installing hitches.

I deleted the tow package a couple weeks ago, hoping that would help me get scheduled, no such luck. I think I read somewhere that you might be able to add it, even though you’ve been scheduled. If I don’t get scheduled by the end of this month, I’m adding it back.

In the same boat!!!!!! My 8/20/20 res has been converted to an order for the third time. Was just at the dealer on Monday and he turned the screen so I could see he was not BS'ing me and there it all is plain as day. Unscheduled and clean. PC of 10 since the start. E-mail conformation from last year's COVP attempt. Ford has built a few of their other orders but not mine, which was their first order. Hard to "stay pumped".

So, I set here reading how everyone gets their build like every week or two for the past 2 years. Watch as others with later order dates, even some walk-in orders, but same build as mine, get scheduled. I have become numb to it all after the first go-round with the 21 re-order when they discontinued AMB and then saw someone post that they got a walk in order of a 21 2DR AMB Basesquatch. Totally deflated any hopes of me even getting a Bronco. Allocation is KING !!!!!!!!! Don't let ANYONE tell you any different.


Hard to believe that back when I was calling dealers, after reading here that Ford sent an e-mail to have a Bronco Specialists, that every large dealer I called had no idea that a Bronco was coming. Then I called a smaller dealer that I knew one of the salesman at and he said "order it up I'll take care of you". Little did I know that Ford must hate them because they sure can't seem to even get the first Bronco order placed there scheduled for production.

He constantly apologizes but I tell him "No need to apologize. I don't blame you. I blame Ford for the whole allocation BS that has caused this whole debacle. They have to get to it sooner or later". And if Ford wants my 2 cents they should NOT open any order blanks (I get the 4DR dealer stock thing to keep the lines moving) until this whole effin' thing gets straightened out. Hell the Maverick was only open for 5 days before they shut it off.

I have a VIN. It feels surreal to type that... Do people get bumped back or forwards when they get a vin still? Sorry I've stopped watching it's been so frustrating but now I don't know how it works...

Yeah seems like some are still getting bumped but having a VIN means you have a Bronco in sight! Congratulations!!

I was hesitant to modify my order as well...but the dealer assured me it has no impact on my place "in line". Since I'm still waiting I decided to go ahead and add SAS. I didn't on the original order as I was trying to keep the MSRP under a certain threshold. But now that I have no truck payment I'll have that additional $$ in no time to pay for the SAS.

I've watched all the December build dates going out and was happy for those who have waited so long to finally get their build dates. But I also saw orders placed months after I placed mine get build dates...wasn't so happy. Lol.

The wait continues.

What is the time period from the build date to delivery at the dealer?

I called my dealer and they said typically 4 to 6 weeks, but it's all over the place. I hate it but the general sentiment was "we'll call you."

I mean, it really is all over. How quickly they move out of the plant holding lot, how far away you are. How the trains are running, or a convoy truck. How busy the holding lots are at the rail yards.... yada yada yada.

Didn't wait until month end. Added tow package back on today.

On 11/3 I received my email. EG manual bad Squatch two door tow package high package. Scheduled 12/19. Ordered October 2021.

My build date is 12/12 so how long could I expect to actually take possession from that date? Anyone that would know?

Received e-mail Nov.3 2022 8:21 AM "We are excited to let you know your 2023 Bronco Wildtrak 4 door has been scheduled for production. Your vehicle is scheduled to be built the week of December 19, 2022" There was a included vin #. My birthday is Feb 22.
