I worked late last night, much later than normal and the outside sourced cleaning dude was in. I've seen him before and he asked about the Bronco and if I still liked it as he didn't see it in the lot. I have talked with him in passing before and he is nice enough. He is an older dude, early to mid 50's but looks like a late 60 year old that works out. He also drives a pimped out V6 challanger with hellcat stickers and a giant wing. Anyway he asked me which engine I had and I told him the 2.3. To which he quickly retorted "you mean the 5oooh!" There was some minor back and forth and I didn't feel like getting sucked in but he told me, in no uncertain terms that: 'i have no idea what I'm even drvin' and dey only come wit the 5oooh and da 6-2. So I must have the base smaller one.'

Silly me. 🤷

Love it, I can see the V6 Challenger in my head now, did they replace the Civics with Si badges?

At least it was something more interesting than,

"One of the new Broncos, can't believe they put a 4 cylinder in that thing!"

It is quite impressive what the 2.3L puts out. I have a 2021 Mercedes AMG with a dual-turbo 4.0L V8 and it has 603HP (624HP with 48v starter/generator). The 2.3L has a bit more than half the AMG displacement almost half the HP ... not bad! I won't compare torque...that would be unfair 🤣

I bet your Bronco doesn't even go Pshhhh Pshhhh.
Meanwhile, I am rollin' in my 5.0, with my soft top down so my hair can blow.
See you chumps at A1A Beachfront Avenue!

Next time anyone asks you which engine, the answer is always "LS swap".

I had a CLK500, 5 liter with 302 hp, that car was a blast! Close to same HP but 1500 pounds lighter.

Well that’s what you get for picking on your obviously well informed overnight custodian.

He probably put half a ’82 Ferrari in the back of his boat too….. Because half an ‘82 Ferrari in the back of the fu@kin boat! :ROFLMAO:…..:cautious:, no.

I had someone say what engine you got in Bronco. I said 2.7 liter, V6, twin turbo. Then he said oh that’s a small engine.

I thought to my self oh geez I better not bother telling him the horse power and torque he may be even more disappointed🤔
