Dang, my BB order (4dr softie, 2.3, auto, mid, mod bumper, switches and tow) that is on the train right now to my dealer priced out at $53,060 when I ordered it on 3/27 and same build for ‘24 is $53,740.

aaargh…. I’m tempted to pass on the ’23 and order a ‘24 just for the 12” screen.

I hate having to make decisions like this!!

interesting. So if I preferred standard running boards would I be better off with neither the rails nor the hoop steps and just getting my own running boards? I don’t intend to do any rock crawling
The rock rails come standard on BD and BL and the running boards come standard on Heritage and OBX. With the BD and BL there's aftermarket full running boards that do attach to the rock rail but I don't think they're as low as the factory running board. Now if you're picking a trim that has neither you should be able to pick up a set of oem boards for cheap since most pull them off to add proper rock rails and don't have a use for them.

Around here, takeoff rock-rails and running boards sell for $100-150.
Thanks. It’s weird that the oem running boards aren’t an option on the black diamond. I assumed it was because of the rock rails, but since they aren’t standard I’m confused

Hoop steps attach to the rock rails, which come standard on the BD
Incorrect. I have a MY23 Badlands with hoop step. The rail is not a rock rail. There's a fine print disclaimer about it if you hit 'more details' and also says the same when looking at them in Ford Accessory. 'Does not support full weight of vehicle'. The rails with the hoop steps are NOT the same as the rock rails. I was disappointed to find this out, but that's what it is.

No more Basesquatch LOL, good.
I tried finding the lowest priced way to get a 2024 2 door V6 Sasquatch like my build and it's now $13k more expensive!

I'm glad I got mine when I did, this change would have priced me out of getting a Bronco all together. My '23 2 door base w/ no options was already top of my budget.

Hey, remember when they started below 30k?

So they made the 12" screen standard across the board, but you still have to upgrade to the High/Lux package(+$3k) to get the 360° camera?! WTF was the point then?! I originally wanted a base 4 door Wildtrak hardtop with the 12" screen/360° camera, and the Hoss 3.0, pretty simple. My build is now $5k+ more than it was originally. 🤯
Yes, it really sucks! Why can't the 360 camera just be a separate option? So frustrating.

what's the consensus here? Orders opening 1PM ET or 1PM PT?

Rock rails are standard on the BD.

Just punched in my order for an Everglades! My dealer said the order banks can close at any given moment depending on when the threshold is met
