I'm happier...pricing came out a little but cheaper than I thought. It made the soft-top decision easier.

I reserved on day two and will keep my reservation up until the cut-off for ordering (end of Jan?). I keep flip-flopping between ordering or giving it a year to see what MY '22 brings along with what the competition does. The Jeep Cherokee is finally about to get a redesign along with the 4Runner and who knows if the Wrangler will get spruced up with the Bronco bringing some competition to the market now. Given the price of my current OBX build, I wouldn't throw out the possibility of the Cybertruck for '22. First-world problems to the max- but that's part of what makes all this discussion so much fun.

The late availability options combined with missing options I expected just means this won't be my long term Bronco. So technically Ford did good because instead of buying one Bronco and keeping it forever I will be a returning customer for the mid cycle refresh/new model. What they are releasing is "good enough" for me to not buy the competition, that's about it.

I agree, nothing they've done has made me consider a Jeep. But I may just get a new sports car instead of a bronco and wait a few model years.

Here is the issue I have - there is only a few combinations that will look really good. Other combos we will see on the street will make people look at it and think that does not look so good. Therefore they will associate all Broncos with the mismatched colors or cloth seats.
I agree with you but isn't that the case for every non-luxury car? I mean I look at a base Wrangler with small wheels and no options and it doesn't look like a lifted, big-wheeled beauty. But it's still capable and maybe thsts what that person likes or that's all they can afford, and it's special to them. Maybe they saved up for the last 3 years just so they could buy a Base with no options and they're the happiest person in the world. I say great for them.

I'm not a fan of the silver steel wheels or the black steel wheels but I have a specific budget and refuse to go over, so somethings got to give. And I haven't budgeted for any upgrades for 2 years. So the black steelies it is. And then I'll get some Black Rhino Arsenals or something with 35s and a 2" or 3" lift then.

Also, getting a black diamond with the blue stitching on a Cyber Orange is also weird. But oh well. ?

All that being said, I feel similarly to a lot of others about the 200 accessories. I guess I created some crazy ideas in my mind and was expecting to be blown away.

In the end though, you'll have enough evil eyes from Jeep owners who won't like Ford getting into their territory. Try not to worry about someone associating your rig with my mismatched one. I'm sure you're will look better. At least till 2023. ?

I built exactly what I wanted and it was exactly what I expected. $30k base 2-door with insulated top and modular bumper. I’ll just get a Honda Fit instead.

I am feeling similarly. I have built and priced a Jeep Rubicon recently and a Jeep Gladiator Rubicon as well. This whole release has been mismanaged and the hype continues to be ruined with every next step. So many questions and no answers- only speculation. The mid package not available with MT except for the Badlands trim?! And no B&P SAS option with MT. At least let us select it and configure it so we know what the price is, even if it is late availability. Does this mean we cant order it in December? I will walk away if we can't get the Mid package with a MT. Don't force me to spend more money on the Badlands model to get what I want.

I'm in limbo waiting to find out if I can order mansquatch in December or not. If not, then I have to figure out which trim level I'm willing to pay for stuff I really didn't want just to get some of the things I did.

I'm actually less on the fence now than what I was originally. I have always been firmly in the Base to Black Diamond group. The issue is that Ford knows how to nickel and dime people on the higher trim levels (and knows many are willing to let them). People who are satisfied with more functionality over luxury in the bottom three trims are getting way more value for the money spent. I even find it hard justifying moving from a fully optioned Base w/ Squatch (which is basically a Black Diamond without the vinyl and washout interior) to a similarly optioned Big Bend with the Mid Package for $7k more. Essentially all you are getting in that tradeoff is optional signature lighting, navigation (which is free through your smartphone),and heated steering wheel and seats. That is not $7k worth of stuff to me because I don't need driver assist features. I would enjoy the heated wheel and seats but that would be about it. I won't enjoy it for $7k more though. I guess that puts me firmly in a fully optioned and accessorized Base w/ Sasquatch, rockin' Velocity Blue.

the fact that I can get a loaded jeep gladiator with a manual for less than 45k makes me so incredibly frustrated with ford right now. jeep does a lot of things wrong but good lord. you can actually mix and match options, and the interiors in jeeps dont look horrendous like the bronco does.

I'm still in, most likely stock BD. No add-ons since they are a bit expensive, I'll look aftermarket and Amazon. But definitely still in.

They should have done a much better job of the interior options. Those interior options might take out lot of cool exterior colors due to mismatch based on Trim level.

Who came up with the brilliant BS ideas on those interior colors and choices? How can they be so careless.

I was all in until I saw the interior options. I don’t understand the combos they decided upon, specifically for the Wildtrak. For a $50k+ vehicle I should have more options than camo cloth and sandstone leather, it’s just upsetting. Are they seriously unable to offer just a simple all black leather option on one of the highest trim levels? I’d happily settle for that. Probably going Badlands or even Outer Banks now just because the interiors are so much nicer.. we’ll see.

Same concerns and complaints many of you voiced. I also revisited Jeep's website this morning. I'm giving my 2014 JKU to my son next year and was so looking forward to moving on. At this point, I'm resigned to waiting a bit to see if anything else shakes out. Like...what is "late availability"? Will ford show a real pic of the MIC top? The preproduction models we've seen varying shades...I'm assuming the bland gray is the color, but holding out hope.

I still really want it. I know Levine said late availability items will be added later but their omission has unnerved me. I have a deep rooted fear that "late availability" now means MY22.

For me, that means compromising on the hardtop and DIYing a Sasquatch package. I haven't made up my mind whether I'm OK with that yet.

I did go build a 2021 Rubicon this morning so I guess I'm fence sitting where I wasn't before ...
Same I saw 2020 Gladiator Mojave 46k. Fully loaded ... (Painted Hard Top)
