Don't flag me down at the mall and ask to me to borrow my spare...

Yeah i think i was thinking of the main 2 brake lights, but the ones on the bronco are technically unmovable arnt they? The third brake light (CHMSL) can absolutely be mounted to a movable piece of body work.
Not only is it on the Bronco and Wrangler, it is on nearly every vehicle with a rear lift gate.
More likely in some field or forest where no one else drives by.No thanks. I’m keeping my spare. Have fun being stuck on the side of the interstate waiting for AAA.
In the old days this would have been a problem - no a days we have Uber and cell phones, not to mention the on board air compressor and tire patch kits.More likely in some field or forest where no one else drives by.
The doomsdayer no spare tire crew is vocal here though. The ones that can't comprehend that you wouldn't have a spare tire. Where every trip is fraught with flat tires, desolate locations, no chance for roadside repair, and no chance for rescue for weeks. In the old days this would have been a problem - no a days we have Uber and cell phones, not to mention the on board air compressor and tire patch kits.
HA! I can plug and inflate a flat faster than most people can 1, get the jack out and jack up the vehicle, 2 remove tire, 3, unmount the spare and mount on vehicle, 4, put the flat on the back, 5, and lastly lower vehicle and store jack. I will be long gone. I only carry a spare in the back country. Besides, I am to damn old to be lifting 35's why I carry a ratchet strap, professional plug kit, and a good air pump.Don't flag me down at the mall and ask to me to borrow my spare...
What is the ratchet strap for? or is that too much of a personal question?HA! Old school recovery tool, in case the flat breaks the bead, you put the strap around the tire and tighten it up good, holds the bead against the rim to seal in the air until you get enough air pressure to do the job. Most portable air compressors do not have enough CFM to do that job. What is the ratchet strap for? or is that too much of a personal question?
That's actually what I was thinking but thanks for the confirmation - glad to know that works outside of my thoughts.Old school recovery tool, in case the flat breaks the bead, you put the strap around the tire and tighten it up good, hold the bead against the rim to seal in the air until you get enough air pressure to do the job. Just keep following the GPS on the map, I'm just over the large rock outcropping....What, your Crown Vic doesn't have a front or rear locker? Just keep coming, you'll see me down in the ravine.we have Uber and cell phones
