Question, for a very late reservation holder that'll be a 2022, do we not even need to do anything at all until this summer when the order banks open again supposedly?

Man! Ford could Fu*k up a wet dream! just cancel 21MY and go 22MY, everyone else will be delivering 22's and Ford will just be rolling out the 21's.

I think I missed something. Where did this originate from? Is this from a Ford memo or is this something that folks on the forum have put together based on assumptions. Big difference! But since I am the first to ask, I feel I must have missed something (and should be called out as dense...)

I'm wondering what this means for a place like Granger? Does anyone know how many allocations they have?

Last I heard they had around 1300 reservations.... I pre-ordered 07/31 & I'm really worried as to whether or not I'll get a MY21.
I don’t think you should worry. Doubtful a MY21 is in the cards unless you don’t have any of the 6 constrained options in your build.

Sorry brother, no chance for you. From the graphs they posted they had 20-30% of their reservations within the first 48 hours.

I haven't heard anyones place in line yet so this is just speculation, but I'm pretty confident 7/31 is about 16 days too late

He also said that the 2.7 should start to be produced late summer/fall at the earliest.
If this is accurate it evidences a level of Ford ineptitude even I had not yet contemplated. I'm beginning to believe the 2 gals from the colors video are actually in charge of the whole enchilada in Dearborn

Yikes indeed...if that IS true then the bulk of folks (me included) will be waiting a long time for 2.7 engines.

yes this is from Ford
Thanks for clarification.

Well if from Ford it's still confusing as it goes against a lot of what others are saying. But if this was the only info I had, I would be leaning positive for a 2021; with me being just on the outside (#63 out of ~45ish allocations with a 7/20 reservation date).

As expected, the constrained configs won’t threaten your ability to take delivery in ‘21 unless you’re near the bottom of the allocation. So 7/13 res holders probably in the clear to order 2.7/2-dr/sas/etc
Great news! Nice to see this comms chart, and similar to what I was told las week from my dealer.

I know that i am number one at my dealership but this is seriously turning into a shit show. Feel bad for people that won’t be getting theirs when I am sure there are more than a few dealers that are sitting on bullshit reservations so they can mark up later
