I'm not too worried about plastic interior. It's pretty much in all mid to cheaper model vehicles these days. This isn't my AMG, so I'm cool with it. Besides, should be easier to clean!! However, the other concerns have mounted to the point that I've pushed my reservation to a model year 22. I have a bit of an issue committing to a $60k, first year vehicle without ever getting to test drive it. What happens if you go to pick this thing up and you simply hate it?

Anybody else concerned about the plastic interior and sheer amount of it? People are saying it appears and feels cheap at the Bronco events.
I saw it in person in Carlsbad last week. I was not disappointed with the fit and finish. If anything I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. The plastic felt rugged not cheap. The dash, Which looks so huge in pics looked perfectly proportional. Switchs looked and felt great. I agree, the more I look at it the less anomored I am....Kind of like a new girlfriend 😜
But I am gaining a deepening respect to the thought and engineering that went into this. BTW, fish eye effect of pictures make the tires on there things seem small.... 32" even looked great in person.

Just because you want 4wd or a bronco doesn't mean you want an off-road vehicle.
Well....Bronco is "an off-road vehicle", built from the ground up to be one first and foremost...so if that's not what you want, you may be barking up the completely wrong tree.

Nope. Everything is plastic these days.
It's not that it's plastic, it's that it's cheap, thin, poorly fitted plastic. That said I still think it's better than a Wrangler or 4runner, but that isn't saying much. Ford looked at their competitors, slightly exceeded them, but that's about it.

I'm not concerned, saw them a few days ago. My only concern is some of felt flimsy, and that could be a pre-production of the fact that it's on tour and getting hammered. Would have been nice if they used thicker plastic or added some accent to break it up, that's all.

Someone else called out that it's about capabilities to price. A LR may be a better option if you want luxury and off-road. Personally I'm going the other way. I beat up vehicles and am excited to not care as much. I'll just wipe my MGV off and spray the floors and laugh at luxury and the principals of caring. Shit, I may put stickers directly on things. Real hardcore.

Yeah exactly. You can buy a bronco for 50k and be able to off road with a rugged vehicle... OR you can buy a Volvo XC70 for 50K and have nice interior and luxury options but not the off road capability... OR you can buy a Mercedes G wagon for 100k and have both.
New G-Wagons are going for $200k-$250k right now, depending on spec. They're THE status symbol at this time.

For just under $100k you can get a Lexus LX, though.

Yes the wide angle perspective in photos (often phones have wider angle lens) tend to change and exaggerate the proportions tire vs body etc. I suspect 33" in a 2-door will look and perform nice.

Otherwise on thread topic, I'm not concerned with plastic interior pieces.

Not concerned. Saw them again yesterday and this truck is amazing And I 1000% can’t wait to get mine. The exterior and off road capabilities are flat out amazing. The interior is actually nice. Is there plastic, yes but it’s utilitarian as others have said and consistent with other Ford vehicles.

For those who haven’t seen them live yet, you will not be disappointed, only more excited.

It's important to remember that the doors and roof come off which means the interior can be exposed to the elements. The last thing you want is to be rained on once and the interior is ruined

My Cherokee has very little plastic at all inside. Some small trim pieces but that's it. Everything is soft touch.

Given the utility of the bronco and possible abuse the interior will be subject to it wouldn't make a lot of sense to do that kind of interior though.

So no I don't have a problem with it.
