Number one reason i do not get a roof top bike rack.Go back to page 2 more pics, I'll try to figure out how to put them all in the first post.
Oh I would have so much rather ripped off a bike wrack than my expensive Ford top! Not that either are enjoyable don't get me wrong.Number one reason i do not get a roof top bike rack.
Backed up into the garage with the soft top open! How the hell did you manage to do that?
Well we had a Tropical storm coming through and the MachE was Scared, needed Big Brother to talk him through the Thunder and Wind!Ahhh! Bronco’s don’t belong in the garage anyway. They belong in the wild! Sorry man. Hope you can get it fixed or a new top.
I'll certainly consider that. The cable that pulls the fabric twill on the side has a small bracket attached and must pull down the rubber seal when closing.Unscrew the 3 screws get 2 part mix epoxy (jb weld)fill hole on under side. While still wet screw back in and hold together with clamp for an hour. Place some expoxy mix over top and onto side for additional support. Might be a good short to long term fix. If you are not interested and buying Bimini too I’ll buy the broken one from you. DM me.
The Video:this is the third soft top related damage i've seen- video on youtube of a woman hitting the soft top on the garage door and another one posted here on the forum- i guess this soft top lifestyle takes some getting used to- i had a convertible but that top would hide away behind the tonneau cover- this soft top can stick up and add height
going to put a sign in my garage that says: "STOP- DO YOU HAVE THE SOFT TOP UP?"
It's ok if it's completely down, the problem is when it's 1/2 open.Damn that sucks. Lesson learned I guess. This is one reason why I won't drive to work with the top down since the parking garage would probably take my top right off going into it
Yea I don't ever put it completely down. Easier, faster, and still get that open view just pushing it backIt's ok if it's completely down, the problem is when it's 1/2 open.
For the Jeep guys, I think some would replace the radio antenna, so that it becomes the tallest point of your trunk. It kind serve as height check before you enter into a parking garage. We all screw up at times, but if we don't learn from it, it can get expensive to be stupid
I understand. Big Brother can always calm down the little ones.Well we had a Tropical storm coming through and the MachE was Scared, needed Big Brother to talk him through the Thunder and Wind!
