Just did my buddies in his Lincoln MKS. It was easy-ish but a tedious pain in the ass to get to all the fasteners.That's the good ish there. Still didn't make it to a bare firewall though.
Knowing Ford, in about 5-10 years we'll need to get familiar with finding and fixing blend door actuators.
Hey there I have attached the directions on how to get to this point of the disassembly, and this is all you will need to do to access the factory wires as shown. They will be wrapped in the black cloth tape initially though.@philjmatt can you confirm if all of this is dash removal is necessary for a base bronco to gain access to the the speaker outputs. He doesn't fully remove the lower audio controls panel so can't see what wires are down there.
I assumed the speaker harness/connector plugged in this space on all 6-speaker models from your picture. Can you give some insight? Thanks!
