I too, am disappointed with fact that you can't even get the Mid Package on a Big Bend with a manual, but you can with a BL.

What gives?

Help me out with the math here, I must be missing something...

Base 2 door MT with DD is 30,795. Sasquatch is listed as a $6590 option. So the total should be $37,385. However, when added the total jumps to $38,180, which is an additional cost of $795. I can't figure out where that 795 is coming from. Seems the real cost of SAS is $7385 on the base 2 door MT.

Seems like they want to steer most Sasquatch buyers to the AT. I'd love to see a breakdown just the same as the first post in this thread for the AT.

Is it advanced 4x4 or is that auto only?

It's for the Advanced 4x4

@Compta38 was on the right track.

The $795 is the cost of going from the standard transfer case to the advanced transfer case (labeled as "Advanced 4x4" or something to that effect in B&P.)

The advanced transfer case is required for Sasquatch.

All I know is my base sas build is only a few thousand cheaper than a badlands with mid.
I 99'd my order to wait for the manual sasquatch.. and now I might just get a badlands.

Well with everyone saying that the manual is so much better than the auto and it is more fun to drive shouldn't it be more expensive and people willing to pay for it?
Because 99 times out of 100 it’s cheaper to build a manual then an automatic. Sometimes it’s the same price (a la new 911) but I’ve never seen a manufacturer charge someone for an automatic when they’re opting for the manual.

Could go BD with mid and enjoy many of the Badlands perks while saving a couple grand.

Just for reference doesn't the sasquatch package remove the crash bar behind the wheels?

If you start with Base, then add Advanced 4x4, it will tell you It requires $7,385 to add Squatch.
Therefore, I think they hit you extra for the Advanced 4x4.
