https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...gine-valve-inspection-advanced-notice.101685/I just received a notice from Ford about 'cracked valve' issue and warranty remedy in the works.
Did I miss something on the forum?? This seems to be the thread that started it all.

Sorry I disagree.... a 23 with 100k is not what this thread was about. This was the list of vehicles that had the bad valves in 21/22..... Yours is not that issue. I am sorry to hear yours only made it to 100k. Personally if I blew a motor at 100 k I sure as hell would not be looking at a stealership replacement. I would be pricing out a V8 conversion though.Add my 23 WT with 103,435 miles to the list. My extended warranty expired at 100kWhat are the stealerships charging for long block replacement?
I'd never pay a stealership $18,000 for a 2.7. I'm going to buy one off eBay; looking at this thread, I'd be pretty safe getting an engine from a wrecked '23 2.7L with 18,000 miles.Sorry I disagree.... a 23 with 100k is not what this thread was about. 34K miles/year? What are you commuting to TX?Add my 23 WT with 103,435 miles to the list. My extended warranty expired at 100kWhat are the stealerships charging for long block replacement?
