Not a single f'ing 2 door - but very few 4 door MIC's either!?

You must have went straight to the back of the thread. There were multiple FE 2 doors posted as scheduled for the weeks of 10/4-10/18

ditto. Mic holdout here. A bit jealous, but I don’t think I want a soft too in winter nor do I want to purchase a 4K with shipping hardtop down the road.

Edit: waiting also has me upgrading to wildtrack plus lux 😳

or whatever special edition.

though I keep debating base squatch

The bane and regret will be all that ordered a soft top. Yeah, you have it first, but if YOU aren't happy in the end due to the fitting and road noise.....no excuses and please don't start a "I didn't know it would be this bad" thread. You had the red flag (or harbor freight tarp top) and gotta live with it.

I did bounce back because I commented on something else; but to your point, I do stand corrected: I did see few few FE 2-doors get scheduled.

A Thursday miracle!! Got my ever elusive VIN, as well!! 7/15 reservation, Badlands, sas, MGV, High, 2.7L, soft top, CACTUS. Swapped out MIC last week after the big influx of similar specced orders receiving their VINs, glad I made the move! Curious to see aftermarket top options and what all is going to be available. Sick of twiddling my thumbs and not about to wait until next year just because of an iffy hardtop. Can’t wait to rip around in this thing. The recent article about orders going all the way into 23 will only help 21s hold their value for at least a year, hopefully longer.

Frustrating to continue to be on the outside looking in, seeing people with the same options and a later reservation get the VIN before me. Such is life in the "No VIN Gang".

We had some last week get pulled.

Have you had any MIC non FE get pulled since Ford released the top delay to MY22 or is it only FE?
Not getting why this is so hard to answer.

I also received a VIN and build date today. It seems the change to soft top and possibly available allocation at my dealership made this happen so quickly as I honestly thought I’d be a last-minute MY21 build if at all.

Reservation date 2020-09-10
Order date - back in January but I don’t think that matters
Order change date - yesterday (September 1)
Scheduled build date - October 4th

BL 2.3 7MT 4dr CO High Tow MGV

Justification for the order change - With the backlog in the MIC tops and my late reservation date I figured I’d be late 22 or 23 given the latest news. I will buy either an OEM MIC when available or an A/M hard top if available sooner and of acceptable quality. I think I’ll still have a hard-top on my Bronco before my original build would have been pulled. It’s a crapshoot but I now look forward to my Bronco in November!
