The kid at my car wash on Friday actually called mine a Durango. I had a good chuckle at that one. Being a car geek, at his age I would have been able to quote every Bronco spec to the owner while fawning over his sweet ride!Well I don’t condone violence(But I do respect him taking up for his wife), I did think this was funny I wanted to share
When I was in Ohio at my sister’s, I was at a light, turning left. Across from me, also turning to his left was an identical 4door, Area 51, soft top, Sasquatch. Light changed, and as we passed each other in the arc of the turn, we stared each other down like a couple of wary gunfighters passing on horseback. Neither one of us waved, which I later thought odd… Good thing was, I was only visiting Dodge for a short time. I got out of town before he could organize a posse to find me.Oh I busted a U-turn across 5 lanes the other day to chase one down while in mine just to wave at them. The wife said I tried to kill her, I think she was over reacting.
You will have to post audio @Cat , please. I definitely want to change exhaust, but don’t want obnoxious either.I wonder how its gonna sound with MRT King of the Hill dual exhaust? I hope it's not too obnoxious.
I’ve been waiting over a month to get my blue Bartacts, which have been out of stock.Funny! I ordered the wrong color Bartacts (too orange), and just today I received the correct colors (Dozer Yellow). Was a cinch to install. They are well made.
You were in my neck of the woods! If you’re ever back this way and have extra time on your hands, let me know. I’d be happy to show you the sights. And yes, the St. Pete area is very nice.Just Tampa, first time here and it’s decent. Wasn’t able to make it out to St. Pete which I’ve heard is a nice area.
The drone is unbearable at highway speeds for the MRT King of the Hill dual exhaust. The muffler is removed. I will be swapping back to the original. You will have to post audio @Cat , please. I definitely want to change exhaust, but don’t want obnoxious either.
Sorry to hear. That’s what I was afraid of. There are several other options that I have seen people try, but this wasn’t something that I was looking to do at the moment, so I hadn’t done too much research yet. V-6 engines are notoriously hard to get a decent exhaust sound from. Seems they are all either too wimpy, or too obnoxious. I guess the search continues…The drone is unbearable at highway speeds for the MRT King of the Hill dual exhaust. The muffler is removed. I will be swapping back to the original.
Dunedin is the bomb! Bon Appetite is a great restaurant and bar, right on the docks.I’m on the other side of Florida…Tampa/St Pete is decent. Although lately I usually end up in Dunedin, 7 breweries all within walking distance.
I'll keep that in mind. I was mostly hanging around the airport / international plaza area where my office is. We checked out cigar city brewing which was pretty good. Then we went out to dinner in Ybor city at Columbia (it was overrated, in my opinion) and checked out some bars after. You were in my neck of the woods! Yes. 2-door Base Camp. Handy, as my commute is mostly freeway w/ cars coming up on me @ 80 mph. (So they don't stay in my blind spot long, but if I didn't see them when I'm changing lanes--POW!)Yours came like that? I had to put mine on myself.
I was in the Service Dept at my dealer to get steps installed. They said a) with the new synthetics, the recommendation is 7500 mi or 1 year, and b) check w/ dipstick any time to see how dirty it is.My plan is every 5K miles or 12 months, whichever comes first.
This is my wife’s daily driver now but she works just a couple miles from home so not many miles will be put on ours.I was in the Service Dept at my dealer to get steps installed. As an aside, my latest tank of premium (I assume the regular from the dealer was all washed out) was getting 23.9 mpg in Normal mode, ASS off most of the time, and lots of gas wasted practicing with the rearview camera.
AND we hit 1000 miles!
