I called CS about my date being pushed out 2.5 weeks. She said it was because of the chip shortage. I asked if it is likely to be pushed out again because I am concerned about my interest rate expiring and she said it shouldn't now that they have planned around the chip shortage. Hopefully, that is the case since interest rates may go up at the beginning of March.

We have to have front plate in CA, too. Yesterday I saw a Tesla w/ what appeared to be a vinyl wrap front "plate" --as long as the Fast Pass cameras can read it, I'd think that's OK

We just put our front plate in the window Lived Here for 5+ years in very noticeable sport cars never had an issue. The law states it must be displayed in the front of the car — it’s called a front windshield right? therefore I’m complying but just putting it in the window. I have no idea if that would hold up in court, but this “offense” is a non-moving? Violation. It’s like… a $30 fine

Here is the center console vault. As you can see it makes the opening smaller. You can also see the emergency key location. And there is a foam cover for the bottom of the vault to cover the emergency key cut out

Hello 1/3/22 Build Week gang. I've been following along with this thread in the background and have unfortunately noticed the signs of another Dirt Mountain situation that many of us earlier build had back in June-August.

I had been meaning to post this a few weeks back but truthfully needed a few weeks to disconnect after Dirt Mountain finally closed out. A quick graphic change (I had "Snow Mountain" in mind originally) and a refurbish on the Dirt Mountain Tracker and we are ready to roll on tracking what on earth is causing these Bronco's to be left out in the cold!

Main point of this Tracker is to bring data together from ALL Build Week Threads into a common place to try and pinpoint the potential causes for delay, whether it be chips, engine worries, or even something simple as a shipping constraint. Also, having a common place to vent together once the lucky SOB's that weren't sent to Ice Mountain move on with their lives is priceless. Think of it as free therapy with your peers .

Remove the mat in the bottom of the center console. You will see a cut out the shape of the key. If your fob battery dies, put your key there and the car will start

with the vault you can just leave your key there perminatly

My husbands response to this was that then someone can just drive away with the car because you left the keys in it

That is not allowed in WA. Decapitation in the event of a wreck.
