I don't get it, why even continue to build these cars if the tops aren't there?

My build was 6/28 then 7/19 and finally 8/9. I got my window sticker on 8/7 and my blend date is 8/13. Showing in production. Dealer said actual build date on his system is today. I continue to watch.

I would wait for more info. If they are just going to throw all of those hard tops out, wouldn't they just switch to soft tops only?

And from the videos we saw of the purgatory holding area, there were soft tops in there as well.

We need more info.

Emailed my dealer about this:

Have read that there is a “stop ship” order on all Broncos with hard tops.

Do you know if this is true? If so, any indication on how long after my Bronco is built before it’ll ship?

If thats true we have not heard anything about it. We looked earlier. Shows yours should be DELIVERED by the 31st of August. So yours might not be affected if thats the case.

Hope this gives some of us some hope after the bomb that was just dropped.

I am rooting for you, but if I didn't have a window sticker yet, I'd reach out to the dealer to see if I had been bumped. I have a Friday build date, so I am probably one of the last builds through this week and mine populated over the weekend.

I have actually contacted the dealer 5 times over the last 10-12 weeks just to see if they knew anything. 2 messages with zero reply and 3 messages with we will check. That’s it! Small dealer in a small town and they don’t order direct. Something about they pay a service to a contract company that does all the orders for them? Said a lot of smaller dealers do that because the Ford ordering system is complex and they are lacking local expertise and turnover.
Some days I get frustrated and others the realization it will get here when it gets here and nothing I can do to change that! I am better not being on the forum as seeing others built / delivered makes it worse!

Yeah you would think dealers would know, and Granger would have said something on this forum, especially since we're still seeing some MIC deliveries occurring at the moment. Now maybe this applies to 2drs, as there don't seem to be very few of these (and Granger has said Ford has been real cagey about why these aren't being shipped).
