My $100 reservation fee was refunded as soon I placed my order, without me even asking about it.

My dealer converted the deposit into Ford points towards accessories... Which I was fine with since I had a few things to add.

I had to put down a $1000 deposit when I ordered mine, in addition to the original $100 to get in line. When I went through the purchase procedure in January, they remembered the $1000, but I had to remind them of the $100. The total price was adjusted by $1100, I gave them a cashier;s check for the remaining amount, signed a few papers and it was mine.

It doesn't make sense to wait for a check to come later if you can make the adjustment when you purchase it.

I paid $100 for the reservation and another $500 to convert the reservation to an order. They added $600 to my down payment when I bought it. I had to remind them of the first $100. I did also pay the 2022 msrp, and they reimbursed me for the price protection.

Mine was rolled in on the paperwork but for some stupid reason they refunded it to my credit card when my production date was set. Of course they didn’t tell me that, so when we were going over the final numbers at delivery they were $100 off. I checked my card and sure enough they had refunded it. Means I had to pay that again so the numbers would work.

I never received mine. Paid msrp with no extra fees so I looked the other way.

The $100 went to whatever dealer you selected when you reserved. If you stayed with that dealer, then that $100 is supposed to be included in your down-payment.

Mine got refunded automatically when I switched dealers. New dealer didn't want anything down, said "We are just happy to take business from the other guys"

Your dealer forgot to roll it in. That $100 went to them through Ford. They could cut you a check today.

I think the dealers just forget and then eventually they figure it out and since contracts are signed for a specific amount they just send you the 100 bucks back later.
