The question I was attempting to answer via chat was “does the current delivery estimate include the time required to remedy the chip hold?”

they don’t know, so I will remain optimistically patient.

I would not pay too much attention to the estimated delivery dates. They will expire and automatically refresh until they actually ship it.

I contacted Ford via chat this morning and asked about the production status, including if the build had a microchip hold, and they confirmed that it did. Chat said that the estimated delivery was 12/14, which I won't believe till it's actually shipped.

2 1/2 months after being produced I finally took delivery of the first bronco today. Sat on a train for over a month then spent 3 weeks sitting at the port. Let the wait for our wildtrak on chip hold continue

Per the dealer my eta also shifted from 11/25 to 12/11-12/17. Booo

Been watching was an 11/14 build moved to 11/21. Today it updated to in production. Blend date was yesterday 11/22. So what can I realistically expect for arrival date at dealer (assuming no chip issues)???

Pizza Tracker shows my '23 built on 11/23, Got a confirmation email this morning, and delivery is expected next week (!). No picture of it coming off the line (not sure if they still do that).

Just checked with Ford chat. My 22 Badlands is still on chip hold at the plant. Blend date was 11/15. ETA to my dealer is 29 November - 5 December. I'm sure it will change once 5 December rolls around. Frustrating to be so close yet so far.

Boy oh boy... they need to have a feature on FanDuel or Caesar's betting apps to lay odds on what answer you'll get from Ford Chat on any given day. I've been told no chip hold and then... surprise, surprise... chip hold. But the "delivery date" stayed the same (Dec 9-15). Didn't seem right but I was hopeful. Checked with Chat again today, and was told they can't provide a delivery date until the vehicle is finished (makes sense)... the Dec 9-15 is the estimated time for the chip hold to be resolved.

At this point I don't expect it until at least January 2023, which would be a nice birthday surprise.

My tracker just moved to Built/Awaiting shipment. Hopefully that means it is off of the chip hold and this isn't an error. I'll check with chat and dealer soon.

It's a shame that you order a MY22 in October 2021 and you don't get it until 2023. It's absolutely ridiculous.
