Bad news for those of you afraid of dying in your car.
Stay away from Ford, especially the F150.
"The auto make involved in the most fatal crashes was Ford. Over three years, Ford accounted for 21,262 fatal crashes, or 17 percent of all crashes in the data."
https://www.rd.com/article/car-brand-most-fatal-accidents/
Well seeing they sell about 15% of all Auto's in the US this isn't out of line with the percentage of Cars on the road.

I know, my quip was more about people worrying themselves sick (literally) over dying because their Bronco engine might break.
You can slice the statistics up however you want, but 100% you're going to die. You can enjoy the activities you like to do, even if there is increased risk, or you can hole yourself up in a bunker and pray for the best. Either way ends the same, but one of those paths is more enjoyable than the other.

I think we can all agree Ford is doing a piss-poor job with these repairs. Ford pointing at Dealer, Dealer pointing at Ford, all the while owners are left months without their Bronco and paying extra for alternative transportation.
It certainly made me think twice about Ford/Lincoln ownership. Shame, because they have some compelling products, are USA company, and didn't take the bail-out.

Ford, please let me choose a NA V8 with linear throttle response and no rats nest of turbo intake plumbing waiting to ingest water at the drop of a hat.

Well I guess the OP is Ignoring me because I cannot access that thread.
Check your ignore list. That is what happens when you have someone on ignore. It blocks more than just their posts. You can't see any threads they created.

Yup. It's still on the historical timeline as well. Which I was a bit surprised to see the admin throw it up there. Glad they did because that hasn't been the case really with other mechanical issues if memory serves me correctly. It also got more attention so he could troubleshoot with members find a possible solution.

Sounds like we may need a bad fuel pump tracking thread next:).
Where is the timeline thread now? I can't find it for the life of me.

Oh yeah I've been following Razorback's thread, but the historical timeline thread itself I can't find.
That thread was the baby of JAGSarge, so when he left the forum and deleted his profile that all went with him.

Yup, that was it. And I remember ignoring.
I havenโ€™t read all 21 pages so forgive be of this has already been mentioned. Is it possible the fuel pump got vapor lock from winter gas on a hot day? A fix for this used to be venting the gas tank by opening the fuel filler cap.

@Lucchese and anyone with a blown 2.7 experience: the news person from WDIV TV in Detroit wants to do a zoom interview with someone that is willing to speak about their experience with the issue. If youโ€™re interested please DM me and I will pass along the contact info to get something set up.
