I really like the look of the plain steel wheels
I'm sure they're going to take some scuffs so it'll make me less nervous if they're just steel wheels that are cheap to replace, if need be lol

Question from an ignorant, soon-to-be off-road enthusiast,, are there any initial modifications anyone would recommend for trails up in the PNW or just in general? If there's a separate thread already going that's similar to this feel free to put me in my place. I don't plan on doing anything crazy at first but would consider putting any mods that you guys think are necessary from the start.

Get a hydraulic bottle jack if it doesn't come stock with one. Don't worry about a hi-lift jack, in 5 years of off-roading I have never used mine. Get a winch, get a good one. Have a recovery kit. You can't always count on someone else to help you get unstuck, so you want to be able to do it yourself.

Something like this is a good start.

There are a lot of videos on Youtube that can really help educate yourself on off-roading. Watch as many as you can. We've got over a year before we get our hands on our Broncos, good time to do some home work.

Matt's Off Road Recovery is a great channel to check out.

That's really good advice. I watched a lot of that stuff when I had my Wrangler.
