Thanks for the pics! Utah is my favorite state to visit. This stock Outerbanks that I’ve been using just rolled over 20,000 miles on my way home to Texas from Colorado. I want to do a full 20k review but also answer any questions that you guys have? So fire away I’ll answer them in a video and plug who asked them. For reference this stock OBX has been to Whistler BC, California, Utah, South Padre Island Texas, and ran some of the most iconic things in the nation like Top of the world, Hells Revenge, Black Bear Pass, and more. It’s also towed a 3000 lb trailer for about 2000 miles and will be towing it again 2400 to King of the Hammers in Johnson Valley California.
Dream job. Nice.I’m one of the Ford Team Bronco Ambassadors. Personally I’m a heavy off-roader and cross country travel/adventure guy. Ford has temporarily provided me this unit to use for my adventures. Basically my objective is to show people you DO NOT need to buy a Sasquatch or Badlands for most adventures. While those thing obviously grant you more capabilities the OBX with a decent tire will get you to basically anything for most adventures. All you need is gas and pick safe lines. I’ll be using a Wildtrack next and will take things to another level. Hope that answered your question
Yeah, I mentioned this on Facebook and got my head chewed off. Sasquatchers lose their mind if you mention you can build a capable Bronco without spending 5-7 grand for Sasquatch.Basically my objective is to show people you DO NOT need to buy a Sasquatch or Badlands for most adventures.
It’s a pretty common sense descriptor considering Sasquatch is a package available on every trim. Also, I can't think of any other vehicle that is so often described using an option it doesn't have. "Non-Sasquatch" is idiotic. You wouldn't say I have a Mustang "non-GT". I have a Jeep, "Non-Rubicon".
How'd that even get started.
You should watch his you tube videos. He does some pretty good off Roading with it. And for a guy like me that will drive it 99% highway/city driving and occasionally off-road to go camping, it looks pretty perfect. Still way better than the Pony SportAs someone who has a stock OBX on the way, I’d just be curious to hear what you think in general of its overall off-road chops. Especially the 4.27 with rear locker. It certainly is no SAS or Badlands, but the way some on here talk, the stock OBX is for pavement only and useless off road.
Chase,I’m headed to King of the hammers with it in a couple days (2400 miles) towing a 3000lb trailer. My goal is to film and edit the review and full towing impressions videos once I get there.
Agree it's stupid, but with over a 50% take rate on the package, I guess it begs the question of which side of the SAS fence you are on.Also, I can't think of any other vehicle that is so often described using an option it doesn't have. why would painted fender flares give you a lot of attention?Go non-sas. The painted fender flares will get you a LOT of attention. Unless you're seriously off roading every week, you won't miss the front lockers.
It's like asking for unsweet tea. Tea is naturally unsweetened. Just ask for tea. Also, I can't think of any other vehicle that is so often described using an option it doesn't have. "Non-Sasquatch" is idiotic. You wouldn't say I have a Mustang "non-GT". I have a Jeep, "Non-Rubicon".

in south Louisiana all tea is sweet. If you say tea, it will be sweet. Unless you specifyIt's like asking for unsweet tea. Tea is naturally unsweetened. Just ask for tea.
