I installed a New Stainless AFE Exhaust this morning. The fit and finish are very good. Total time to remove factory and install new exhaust was about 30 mins. Very easy even without a lift.

Shown is the AFE Hi-Tuck 49-43135 vs the Factory System. The AFE is a bit louder, but still has a deep tone to it. Overall, very nice sound and does not sound like a weed eater at all. The pipes are larger and have smoother curves and bends, so I would expect some increase in power?

After putting a few hours on this Exhaust system I have decided it is too loud for me as is. (Maybe I'm just too old) I removed the Hi-Tuck Tailpipe and installed the additional AFE muffler across the back. This is a pretty good improvement in sound and not so loud.

I added the second muffler. This toned it down a bit to my liking.

AFE is not known for "quiet" exhaust systems. Good stuff but a bit more on the "tuner" side of loud. I lean towards Magnaflow for the sound I like. I little Dynamat or other sound suppression material above the muffler or front resonator helps a bit.

This AFE system does not have the weed-eater or "Tuner" sound. Sounds good now with the second muffler.

The whole rear deck (Behind Front Seats) and wheel wells have Dynamat installed. This helps as well.

Update: I found some adjustable head rests that will be redone in leather when the seats are reupholstered.

I don't like the non-adjustable head rests at all. Yes, they are too far forward. I have to lean my seat back a little so my head is not on the head rest all the time. Bending the rods is an option. I am on the look out for replacements from an optional leather truck.

You can flip the headrest backwards. I used to do this when wearing a helmet. Not ideal if you get rear ended and aren't wearing a helmet

Now that's an option!

I found some adjustable Head Rests and had them re-upholstered when the seats were done.

To be accurate, by "tuner" I meant anything of any displacement. Where db concerns are minimal and exhaust flow concerns are maximized. RC cars to Semis.
