No update just venting... this is killing me worse than waiting 2.5+ years for the bronco, my highlift mount is here my branch risers are on the way and my tire delete bracket is on the way... no Bronco though.

LOL, I just realized this community is calling SAS for sasquatch, I've had my 96 built up on a solid axle swap for years, that is known as SAS in most off road forums. forgive my term ignorance.

As a (former) Toyota guy the SAS thing here confused the heck out of me for awhile too. Just one of the idiosyncrasies of the site. Good luck with the replacement dif! Hope it comes in a timely manner.

Took it off highway last night to make sure everything was all good. The front end seems fine in all aspects. 1 issue has now popped up however, twice now it has while driving given me an indicator that the hood is not closed, both times it was closed. Does anyone know a fix, or adjustment on this?

SAS should remain Solid Axle Swap and the admin should really admonish all the nonsensical users when it's used to refer to the Sasquatch package. However, hope for that movement died long ago.

I'm glad you got out there and got your Bronco back. I think QC levels dropped off a cliff during COVID.

You are not the ignorant one. The SAS battle has long been fought here. The proper shorthand for Sasquatch is just Squatch but some still insist with SAS or Sas (which is a bit better).

But hey, at least we were successful at stamping out the Sassy crowd.

I work in an auto plant, when I saw that it was a end of December build right before shut down (most auto plants shut down a week or two before the end of the year) I was like oh $#!t!! a year end build at Christmas the last week before!! People are real anxious and tense at that time of year, pre covid focus was a problem then... Also it was a Friday-Monday build...strike two... If i were to guess the build date on all the supplier parts were probably coming back right after thanksgiving shutdown...strike tres... Most likely Eaton built that front end then...They didn't open it and Ford had them send it to their research and development department... so I'll never know what failed.. I really want a schematic of that front end... I bet I could figure it out ... maybe I'll dig for it when I have time...

turn in the hood bump stops a bit that should do it.
