The Tear Tag is a label that goes on your vehicle’s PCM (or maybe BCM? I forget). That tag is linked to Ford’s database, which an automobile technician can use to look up the programming for the modules in your vehicle. That programming is referred to as the “As Built” configuration.

If any of the modules in your vehicle fail in the future, technicians can use the As Built configuration to program a new module with the vehicle’s original programming.

It’s not intended to be used to track the build status of a vehicle, but we’re kinda hijacking the system and using it as a signal that the vehicle is actually progressing down the assembly line.
Good information! Thanks.

Here is the link again for you 8/1 heroes. Hope you keep filling it out; it gives many of us hope. I am sorting your spreadsheet a bit and putting build days together. Hope that helps you see trends, dates, etc. Clearly I have nothing to do with my build week spreadsheet yet .

Yes, it is Thursday afternoon and I don't have a window sticker for my "build" next Tuesday. Confidence isn't high.

8/1 Build Week Spreadsheet
Also an 8/9 build with no
Early 8/3 blend for me.

Modules/tear tag appeared late last night, but still ”In Production”. I ordered the roof rack though and I’m fairly confident that isn’t installed on the main assembly line, so I would expect my order to take slightly longer to get through production.

Don’t know about the Bronco specifically, but typically takes 15-18 hours to finish a vehicle, so I was hoping blend on 8/3, finished up 8/4, and shipped today on 8/5, but that probably was a bit too optimistic.
You are correct in the fact that any and all accessories are not installed on the line. This even includes Wildtrak hood graphics so Wildtrak builds and anything with roof racks, tube steps, etc. tend to take a bit longer to show "built" and "in transit". Hopefully there is no back log

So mine was showing in production 8/4, the day is was scheduled, and bce mods popped mid morning yesterday. My tracker is now showing in production with a new date of 8/5 and still no pce …. Was 222/2030. This damn BadSquatch build is going to be the death of me . We’re driving this thing until it dies… that is if we ever actually get it.

Maybe Raptor steps. Also they have to move the rear suspension bolts on mine.

Ford offers an engine block heater as an available add-on.

Helps if you live in areas of the country with REALLY cold weather. Like... -20°F during the overnight hours type-of-weather. Helpful if you live in Canada, Alaska, or the any of the states that get real cold in the winter (MT, ND, SD, WY, CO, etc.).

If the coldest it gets is 20-30°F degrees with maybe an occasional night that reaches into the 10 - 15°F you don't really need it.

The tear tag appears within 12 hours after they are actually applied. Used to be within 30 minutes but nowadays it seems to take longer.

Michigan Assembly is usually operational 6 days a week (unless they start canceling shifts due to lack of components), so yeah… normally tear tags should appear almost every day all hours of the day all week long with the exception Sunday evenings.
gotcha, thanks again our Bronco "YODA"

Hi! I just joined so I could post. When do you guys think we can expect 8/5 blend dates to be built?

Who we got “In Transit” already? I think there was a couple. I’m in production but tear tag has been done for a day.
Did you get a new ETA for delivery since you got your tear tag? curious because you have a similar timeline delivery to me, everyone else seems to be this month. I have an 8/5 blend and my modules haven't popped yet, Ford chat no longer has a delivery ETA in the system for me so hoping it could be sooner for logistical reasons.

I haven’t rechecked w Ford chat so idk. I keep hoping when they said “Sep-20-2022” they misread the 8 as a 9 hahaha
