Now it is time to get into some more details of our upcoming hardtop. Our hardtop specifics:

1. Roof rack compatible (See pictures for examples of both tops)
2. Wiper motor will be plug and play
3. Defroster will be plug and play
4. Washer fluid will be plug and play
5. Hinges are included
6. Rear struts are included
7. All glass is included
8. Sound deadening will be an option
9. Our hardtop will work with the OEM Hardtop Prep Kit.

Here are answers to some questions from last week:

1. What is the overall weight and weight capacity of the top?
   1. It is very similar to the OEM top weight.
2. What about 2 Door Tops?
   1. We are focusing 100% on 4 Door Broncos at this time. At this time, we do not plan on developing a 2 door top. HOWEVER, that can change if we get enough interest.
3. Will the White UV Textured match the OEM color?
   1. It will be a close match to Oxford White.
4. Will the Black UV textured match the OEM color?
   1. It will be a close match to Shadow Black.
5. Will we offer a “Hardtop Prep Kit” for those that did not get it from Ford?
   1. We are currently investigating developing our own hardtop prep kit.

Need a 2 door version

The difference in MSRP for giving up the fual top in lieu of softtop only was around $1800. I can see where a 1 might look like a 7 but if Ford is serious at number I want what they are smoking

from my understanding, the front 2 panels alone are $1500. They want $1300 for a light bar...

@ADV Fiberglass Can y’all tease a price range now? Definitely interested in something like this at around $3k-$4k. Anything more, and it’s not really sensible/affordable for most folks.

Will there be an option for those of us who don’t want/need any of these extra features? They sound expensive and unnecessary for those of us without hardtop prep kits. A lot of us are just looking for an affordable hard top for the winter.

The talk from my dealer Ford is somewhere in the 7k range. Per the dealers rep he told them to get it down because there will be after market tops out soon for far less. I'm really hoping that this is the one he was referring to because so far I am sold.

I just would really like to know when because all of the other answers given so far are great and it should fit my 4dr WT with Fords prep kit.

Again my biggest question is when?

That wouldn't shock me, have you ever looked at the prices of some oem parts from the Ford parts catalog. Insanely over priced. I remember looking on the parts catalog for wheels I wanted for my mustang, IIRC they were like 3 or 400 per wheel from parts department.

I'm looking at the one piece top in Shadow Black with sound deadening head liner, defrost, washer and wiper.
Can't wait to see a photo of the actual painted top.

That's not what a quality rack costs... That's what a custom made rack costs.

You say my post is misinformation but I've yet to see any real aftermarket roof rack nor any hard information from Ford on allowing the roof rack to be ordered separately aside from you saying "soon".

So no it's not misinformation.
