haven't seen any updates on the status of the molding, I would hope that by now it should be finished. It looks like the supplier is working to finish the entire order and then ship the whole thing together in one load, rather than making two shipments which would allow for units to finalized and shipped to customers, as well as having the install video completed. The installation process is VERY easy. We would recommend two people but anyone can tackle this. We will finish the install video once the rubber arrives.
I reached out to ADV earlier this week. They just said they would send out another update when there was any news on the rubber shipment.haven't seen any updates on the status of the molding, I would hope that by now it should be finished. Please tell me that the producer is nearby in California and not in CHINA.
weather is getting nice and my fellow Nutmegger's wife is getting antsy to get my soft top on her bronco
Yes the order is almost completed and will be shipped as one large order. Based on our meetings with the manufacturer this week, the rubber will be shipped in the next week or two. Our teams are ready and prepped for final assembly. As soon as final assembly begins, things will move very quickly.haven't seen any updates on the status of the molding, I would hope that by now it should be finished. They dodged the question lol so I'll bump it to see if you get an answerPlease tell me that the producer is nearby in California and not in CHINA.
If there's a shortage in rubber, can you not just melt down these rubber ducks everyone hates? Solves two issues at once.
Feel free to send me a cheque in the mail if you use my idea
yes, China is 30 to 40 days cargo by vessel. Then only god know how long to unloaded with the backlog of vessels stacked up off California .They dodged the question lol so I'll bump it to see if you get an answer
But when you charge $7k for a hard top I would assume it's American made. If it's not then it's not a company I would buy from.yes, China is 30 to 40 days cargo by vessel. Then only god know how long to unloaded with the backlog of vessels stacked up off California .
Probably looking at late May sometime .
cant make anything in the USA anymore-- I would pay more for that peace of mind.
But on the bright side of things, school will be on summer vacation if thats the case and I will have my youthful assistants loitering about the house to help.
.... if you use my idea
I remember in January making a joke saying I’ll see mine in May/June…well here we are haha…@ADV Fiberglass So how long is the rubber going to be in transit? 1-2 months?
I’m surprised no one is concerned about how the price of replacement glass hasn’t been determined yet.
