This might be a dumb question but wouldn’t this be better if the opening faced the back? I mean nothing is sealed so you won’t get any better fording depth but facing the back should allow cleaner air right?

Not a big deal but Im surprised they left the ditch lights on. That one is "slightly" facing the wrong direction due to the snorkel

I'm no expert, but I don't see how air gets by those 3, 90 degree bends very well. Does this come with under hood routing kit?

Nothing says "I'm just putting stuff on my vehicle because I think it looks cool" like a snorkel. There's a Wrangler Sport running around my town with a snorkel and I GUARANTEE it hasn't ever been in a situation where it was needed.

I kind of like the design of the Ford factory one on the Everglades... anyone know if Ford plans on selling that a la carte to use for other trim levels besides Everglades?

snorkels aren't really for water fording as much as they are for "cleaner air" above most of the dust from the vehicle in front of you. Most systems are not as water tight as you think.

you're gonna have a much worse day swamping your electronics under the hood that are not waterproof thinking that snorkel lets you drive up to the top of the cab through a river.

If you're putting a snorkel on your Bronco, keep in mind your alternator is much lower than your stock air intake. High water will kill your alternator way before it gets sucked into your engine.
