I have a babdlands with 33 inch bf tires and the tires were quiet . Today I swapped for sasquash wheels and tires set with 3k miles on them and they are much louder than the original set. What is everyone’s experience with these ? I love the stance and the look of the set up but they are too loud for my taste. Could it be the fact that the tires aren’t covered by the non sasquash narrower fenders making it loud ? I have about 2 inches of poke outside the original fenders.

Can’t hear the tire noise over the wind noise. 🤷‍♂️

Additional poke will not help, but yes the SAS tires are very ….. very loud.

The stock Squatch Goodyears? There is no way I'd call them loud. Honestly I can barely hear them. Do they have a weird wear pattern on them? Maybe I've lost more hearing than I thought.

KO2’s are probably quieter than those GY’s you have now

They're quite quiet for an aggressive tire, noise is one thing I can't complain about. Throwing rocks and thin carcasses are fair game though. I also went from the K02s to Goodyears and didn't notice much of a noise difference but I had Mickey ATs in between and they WERE super loud.

BFG All-Terrains have been the quietest truck tire I have ever driven. So if that’s the baseline, everything will seem louder.

Edit: After running oversized truck tires for over 30 years, I will also share that they are consistently the most round and easiest to balance. And these are E rated.

If they would make their mud-terrains wider, I would run nothing else.

Are you able to post a picture of how far the tires and wheels stick out? I just bought the Sasquatch wheels and I’ll be mounting the Badlands stock BFGs to them next week. Thank you!

I am old and they're quiet to me.... even with my hearing aids.

Are you sure? Have you even tried?!

My first set of buckshot mudders laugh at this post. I would laugh too, but my tinnitus says no.

Just changed my wheels tire set up to black rhino Br004 on KO2s. The ride is much improved all around. Noise is definitely lower, and the ride seems more compliant. I feel like there is more traction and the same bumps that used to upset the truck are no longer an issue. I know the wheels are about 6 pounds lighter than the sasquash wheels but the tires weigh about 10 pounds more. The increased in traction must be due to about 3 inches of more contact patch vs Goodyears. Overall k02 wins hands down

Picture below show the rather major difference in contact patch between the two tires that are supposedly the same size. The Goodyear mts look narrow in comparison to KO2s
