Hey everyone,

I figured a threat with an encompassing update from forum folks would be cool. Simple responses for folks considering the product in the future:

1. Do you own an Anderson Composite hardtop? (If so, which kind).
2. Do you like it?
3. Would you recommend it? If not, why?

1) Yes I got the primered version
2) yes
3) yes I would but with the caveat to get the regular black version to save money. Plus you will need to do all the sound deadening fixes of the MIC top of the sound bothers you. Also do a thorough inspection of the rear window and rear window latches before accepting delivery

Can you elaborate on the rear window and latches comment? Are they obvious to see misalignment?

Most people have had no issues with the tops, but of the ones with issues it was due to poor figment of the glass or the hinge covers repeatedly popping off. There’s a thread or two on here with the details

Just changed my vote to No

Literally just now went out opened my rear glass to put stuff in the trunk and the adhesive on the driver side strut FAILED. The strut then scratched the paint above the rear glass on the top since nothing was holding it in place.

Going to call Anderson to give them a chance to make it right.

If they do I’ll change my vote back to yes. It’s been less than a year of me owning the thing smh

1) Yes. I bought the carbon fiber version for my Raptor.

2) Yes, I really like it so far. I damaged my OEM MIC top in a rollover crash. At the time I ordered it (Dec. 2022), there were no other options on the market that I liked, so I went with the CF. I don't regret it at all. It looks amazing in person and is a much nicer top than the OEM MIC top.

3) Yes, I'd recommend it. The fitment of the panels and overall quality is much better than the OEM MIC top. I'll also offer a caveat similar to @BroncoBoy22 - be prepared to request replacement rear hinge covers. Mine broke within a month of installation, as has happened with several other owners. Still wouldn't stop me from buying another one.

1. Yes, the black fiberglass one.
2. Love it. Color-matched to the black factory trim on fenders, mirrors, etc. No major road noise. No leaks. Has same squeaks and rattles as factory top, but nothing major. No exposed edges, crappy paper core, or any of the other horrible designs of the factory MIC top.
3. Yes. It's a factory look without the terrible factory top and all of its defects.

1. Yes, black non primered.
2, Like it. Much quieter than the soft top. Because it is built like OEM, it is compatible with other accessories, I put the TrailRax half rack on it.
3. Recommend it. I am going 2 years this May. No problems so far. I've been removing the top during the summers using Toplift pro. No regrets with the purchase.

I got the kit in from Anderson! Going to attempt the repair this week. Does this type of Adhesive look good for this application by your experience?

I am appreciative of them because mine is out of warranty and they sent the kit without issue

Just received ours and installed it today. The alignment isn't perfect but I will let it settle before I make any adjustments. Overall we are happy with the purchase so far.

Update: finally got around to fixing the shock mount with Anderson kit. I followed @Big Boss and Anderson’s instructions to a T. Made sure all adhesive was removed and wiped down with the alcohol wipes they gave me. Gave it 2 days to cure without direct sunlight exposure. Then put the hardware back on and all is well!

I prob did a B+ job with the touch up paint but that’s ok it is a truck after all haha.

All is well that ends well. I thank Anderson for the kit
