Just ordered one yesterday, in white, so we shall see how long it takes. I'm hoping I will have it by winter. The soft top survived the first winter but it's not ideal, and my guess is it's pretty rough on the soft top.

Ok I received the top yesterday and got it installed. Good quality top. I came from a factory soft top. The road/wind noise is quite a bit less with this hard top. Don't know about comparing it to a factory hard top.

When you drive it through rain, would love any info on leaks! My soft top has had no leaking issues, and I went with it because I heard about leaking issues with factory hard tops. Considering getting this for the winter but want to make sure there aren't leaking problems before I do.

No rain in the forecast until this weekend here. I will let you know how it does. I might wash it one night this week if I have some time.

Put it on, took it through the Carwash twice. No leaks from the top at all!

Quick follow up. I just got back from Super Cel East and the top did great going to East TN and back from Chicago. Several car washes in and still no issues. Also hit a few trails while there as well. Thank you all that swung by while we there and checked it out.

Anywhere from $5-8k seems like

Personally I wouldn’t pay more than $3k for OEM

If you get it from a dealer within driving distance (to avoid shipping charges) and they charge the MSRP, the total should be less then 6,500 (depending on the sales tax rate).

If you buy an OEM used, I've seen them listed for around $5k, but if you buy all the pieces directly from Ford, it's way higher.

I think it looks pretty good. I just need it in white, need a place I can do the receiving and install and I'll be good to do.

Of course I can't get the AC site to load at work, and the dealer locator on my phone is trash. If anyone knows someone in Houston that can do this. Holla at me!

Comparing this to OEM, if they were priced the same or the OEM was less and available (no 3 + month wait) which way would you go?
