If XM struggles for 30 seconds or so to load the music, it will only then offer an option to "switch to internet". I'm not technically sure what that does, however, I assume it's using cellular service at that point. I haven't found a proactive way to switch to internet yet. I've just had to wait for it to offer. So, then do we have the option to use one or the other?
Interesting, I did see that message some time ago and it switched to internet. I wonder if it kept that setting or if it resets it self. I'll see if I can dig in my settings to see what is being used.If XM struggles for 30 seconds or so to load the music, it will only then offer an option to "switch to internet". Found this for jeeps. Will have to look at the unit on the Bronco to see if the connectors are the some. If the backer doesnāt work it should be easy to make something. Now that I mounted my rooftop tent for Bronco Safari, the XM reception is painful again. Anyone found a solution yet?
No it works fine through the carboard HT (MIC), but once you add another layer of obstruction like a rooftop tent, it sounds like it does it in.I don't get it. I have a HT and from what you guys are saying, it sounds like it wouldn't work with my HT on. But I haven't had any issues.
Any update on this topic and if this piece will work?Found this for jeeps. Will have to look at the unit on the Bronco to see if the connectors are the some. If the backer doesnāt work it should be easy to make something.

Any exact step by step directions for this?Like I mentioned itās only 360L portion of Sirius XM that runs on cellular. Look in your vehicle settings and youāll see a toggle to turn 360 L on and off.

I havenāt had a chance to work on it. Iāve ordered an extension cable and I plan to pick up some aluminum to make a bracket.Any update on this topic and if this piece will work?
It seems easiest to leave the existing antenna in place and just add a new antenna where you want, while just plugging the new wire in place of the old wire at the receiver or module. Iām going to explore that shortly as my XM sucks right now. New antennas seem to be in the $20-30 range.Any update on this topic and if this piece will work?
