Anyone else hate the silver beauty rings?

In theory and from pictures I thought the black would look better. Nope. Saw them both in person and to me I think the brushed silver looks 10x better with the Sasquatch then the all black!! It wasn't even close. It has more of a tough off road bead lock look to it. Where the all black makes it look like a luxury style wheel. JMO

Totally black wheels do nothing to enhance a vehicle appearance IMO. No contrasting colors or highlights that disappear and meld with the tires at anything other than close proximity. If you can’t stomach the silver try a different color like the vehicle’s paint or a contrast. You can do much better than black.

I think I might go all black but with silver plated bolts (for contrast)
Or remove the paint and do an ACTUAL brushed aluminum

I knew when I ordered my Badlands Sas, that job 1 was going to be powder coating the horrible silver rings.
what I didn’t realize is how it would completely transform the look of my truck!

Yep. hated them. Lined up a restoration shop to powdercoat mirror black, like the Wildtrak as soon as I took delivery, 1000% no regrets whatsoever. 75 bucks for all 5.

It is a perfect match for the Badlands grill with just a hint of metallic…

Mine on my Basesquatch are getting Rustoleum gloss black rattlecanned the day after I pick it up. Any trail scars (not curb rash OMG how fucking lame..) can be fixed as needed or wanted. With aftermarket blackout badging and black base grill the truck will look great I think.
