Are you a first time Ford owner? Survey says:

Ford claims 70% of orders are from non Ford owners. I don't believe it so lets do a survey.

Irrelevant poll, it is people who don't currently own a Ford, not that they never had one.

Father was a Ford employee, so I guess that makes me automatically a Ford loyalist (although in reality A/Z pricing is just really good).

Iā€™ve owned seven Ford vehicles over the years, one of themā€”and my favorite vehicle to this dayā€”was a 1989 Ford Bronco XLT that was traded in during the Cash-for-Clunkers program. I kinda regret that decision, but I was in college at the time and simply didnā€™t have the time/money to take care of it.

Sadly this new Bronco will probably be the last Ford I will buy for awhile. Next vehicle up for replacement is my daily driver (currently a Focus), and Ford currently doesnā€™t have any compact cars in the American market. Iā€™m hoping that means theyā€™re working on a new all-electric/hybrid compact vehicle that will come in under $20k (the Maverick gives me hope), but weā€™ll see.

My first Ford will be my bronco if the unicorn ever shows up! My husband drives an F250 and has had several. Iā€™ve owned cars from Cadillac, Toyota (2 4Runners, 1 Sequoia), a Honda, and currently a Jaguar FPace suv. We also have a restored 1980 Jeep CJ7. We are definitely both excited for me to get the bronco and have a debate going on if it will fit in the garage next to the CJ šŸ˜‚

At almost 28% on an enthusiast site, I would think that's pretty high.

This will be my first Ford purchased from a dealer. I don't count my 69 Cougar.

I was going to post the same thing but I read the article and it specifically cites that the Bronco is the first Ford EVER owned, so the poll does in fact coincide with the article.

Thanks for the responses. Long time Ford owner here. First one was a used 73 Ford Courier in 1978. Then a 79 F150, 84 Mustang, 92 F150, 98 Contour, 2005 F250, 2011 F150, 2013 F250, 2013 F150, 2013 Focus, 2015 F350, 2016 F350, 2017 F350, 2017 F150 and 2020 F350- yeah, I like Fords.
The only two that were junk were the first two. The 79 F150 had the transmission go out, rear end go out and pulley fall off of the crankshaft to name a few issues....... The Mustang was probably my favorite and I should have kept it..
I have wanted a Bronco for years but was too frugal to buy one but now's the time to play.
Welcome to all of those that have never owned a Ford before......

This is my first new Ford and I haven't bought any domestic car since I was 16. I do currently DD an old Ranger that my dad left since I sold off my car over a year ago foolishly thinking I'd have my Bronco by now. Truly hope that Ford quality has gotten better over the years and that all the posts about this or that are teething issues.

I have never owned a Ford. Maybe I will by this time next year. But, when I met and married my wife she owned a Ford Fiesta. I learned how to drive manual in that car, and on the other side of the road. Yes, she taught me. We were stationed in the UK at the time, and sold it when we PCSed back to the states.

while the title claimed what you say, I actually read the article under it and you are incorrect. It is people who do not currently own a Ford, not ones that never owned one. You got suckered by a misleading headline and just assumed it was the case.
