ABS module info
Thank you!
Need FDRS to do the bleed procedure. Were the sensors the only parts destroyed or did it mangle the hard lines? I'd replace the sensors and clear codes first, then if still messed up run the bleed procedure.
As best as I can tell the wires broke internally because I don't see any external breaks. The hard lines are a little tweaked, and I had to crimp the rubber with vise grips to get it off the trail, so I don't feel good keeping them.

I need to take the wheel off again and go over it more thoroughly. In the middle of a running creek propped up with a scissor jack was not the best place for a good inspection.

Trying to figure out by VHR time if that's your time or if it displays it in eastern where I'm at.

Did you get any water in the passenger floor board area or near C210 (behind kick panel trim near firewall)?

It took about 4-5 hours from the event until I got it home and it was going nuts the whole time so it should be a hefty window.

No the cabin stayed completely dry.

You're the winner for most codes in VHR at one time.

Obviously we need to get the sensor replaced and check the harness on the body side for damage. Unhook batter or use Forscan to clear the codes and see if it's still messed up. If so, either try the Forscan bleed procedure or try to see if a dealer can run it. If all the hard parts and sensors are good, I'm not seeing a code that would indicate the HCU being hard dead.

I asked about C210 because a lot of other stuff is popping up (along with ABS) that goes through it.

Pretty sure FORSCAN can perform the ABS Bleed. I distinctly remember doing it when replacing an ABS module in a buddy's Mustang GT (he rebuilt a salvage car) and we put a used ABS module into another car. Took half a bottle of Vodka and some wrench throwing - but it worked.

Haven't checked the diagram - but is there a sensor in the path of the boulder that could have been screwed? Is the wheel speed sensor intact? I had a cracked wheel speed sensor cause FREAK OUT level codes on that same Mustang I mentioned.

Thanks so much Phil. I'm frustrated that it's going to be 2 weeks before the parts are even here, if I'm lucky.

Very much in the path.

I gave up the idea of fixing myself, I think it's going to turn into a rabbit hole. Found the brake booster dented. Dropped it off at Ford.

@Tricky Dick well…at least you can’t blame the Goodyear MT’s for picking up rocks and damaging your paint 🤣. I wonder if wrapping your tires with PPF would have helped lol…Nice job btw
