Hey all, hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. Based on the great info on the site and from Ford, it looks like the height of a 2021 Bronco Badlands *without* the Sasquatch Package and with the roof rails installed is 77.3'' Just met with my garage guy today and we managed to increase the door height to 80''. Victory, right? Well, I just now noticed on the online build webiste that the radio antenna extends even further above the roof rails. Does anyone know if this antenna is fixed or is telescoping when the radio is off? I'm really hoping it's the latter. Thanks!
I believe it is fixed and unscrews from where it mounts near the side view mirror.

Man, the questions are endless. Just when I thought I had seen them all! :D

But in all seriousness, I had this same issue with my Xterra. The stubby antenna is a quick and easy replacement, but it should be pointed out that the radio reception will not be as good. (The stubbier you go, the worse it will be.)

That's probably an okay trade off to get your car in the garage though.

I was going to ask about the size of the lug nuts but now feel intimidated!

So.. I read online that the stubby antennas really kill your reception. While this might not be a big deal to some I tend to like to listen to my local stations for sports radio. My current Ford explorer has the following antenna on the top and the reception works fine. I wonder if you'd be able to use one of these on the new Broncos.

Yeah, really I just need any solution that drops the antenna height to the same height as the top of the roof rails which on the non-Sasquatch Bronco Badlands is 77.3''. So far stubby antenna, bending back the antenna with the loop thingie CB-style seem to be possible options. I had a Ford Fiesta ST that had a stubby roofmounted antenna and that seemed to work fine but my experience is limited to that car.

Will that antenna mounted up near the mirror interfere with the mirror mounted pod lights. Photos of Broncos with pod lights....I don't recall an antenna showing in the photos.

Jeep has these you can buy. Bronco probably will to.
These are sold for the Ford Ranger, too. Standard screw-in mount I would think.
