I was told the Raptor rods are a stronger rod then the Bronco. Will the Raptor fit the Bronco. I have a Badlands on order.

I would think yes since the Hoss 3.0 on the Wildtrak incorporates the tie rods.

The BRaptor rods will NOT fit. However, the similar Wildtrak HOSS 3.0 rods fit. The rods alone are pricey. You can buy the rods for something around $500, or you can buy the entire severe duty rack (including rods) online for around $950+core.

Hoss 3.0 inners: NB3Z-3280-D (x2)
Hoss 3.0 outers: NB3Z-3A130-C and NB3Z-3A130-B

These are the tie rods that would fit.

I had the Hoss 3.0 tie rods installed on my Wildtrak last month at my Ford Dealership.

I believe these are the part numbers. (As listed above)

Hoss 3.0 inners:
NB3Z-3280-D (x2)

Hoss 3.0 outers:
NB3Z-3A130-C & NB3Z-3A130-B

Questions please

Which outer is passenger / Driver?

For those that installed H3.0 tie rods in their Bronco’s with the stock rack are any other parts needed for install? Such as boots or???

eventually I’d like to install a 3.0 rack also but I’m hesitant to take on the programming & install myself. I may just start with the H3 inner and outer tie rod upgrade.

NB3Z-3A130-B is the right outer
NB3Z-3A130-C is the left outer

The part number for the inners (NB3Z-3280-D) comes with the boot and both clamps per side.

You can also get the inners without the boot and clamps with part number NB3Z-3280-C

If you're installing HOSS 3.0 Tie rods on a standard rack, the new boot isn't going to fit properly on the steering rack because the standard rack is a much smaller diameter at the boot seat..

Not sure if the inner tie rod is going to fit through the original boot either. So what boot are people going to be using in this scenario?

I did it originally. Use your original boots, they stretch enough (however they will be challenging to remove, i found out). Not sure if inners come w/jam nuts, but you will need those also.

The catalog doesn’t show the jam nut coming with the inners, but sometimes they do even when it’s not shown.

Thanks guys. Appreciate the comments.

Any insight to the PN’s for…..?

- jam nuts of H3 tie rods
- boots for the OEM standard rack (just in case I eff them up)
- clamps for the OEM boots
